NATO's Child Soldiers In Libya

As well as committing War Crimes by bombing civilians, NATO is using child soldiers as young as 7 in Libya. This is another War Crime to be chalked up against NATO.

The beauty of War Crimes is that they must be committed by individuals (ie, not a faceless regime or parliament) and therefore these crimes will one day be laid at the door of Barack Obama, David Cameron, Nicolas Sarkozy, William Hague, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Silvio Berlusconi and the like.

At present, the NATO combatants are occupied in an unseemly race to carve up Libya's oil and gas wealth and other resources among themselves. But make no mistake, Messrs Obama, Cameron, Sarkozy et al! The industrial-military complex for which you are the cynical poodles will not protect you forever. One day you will pay for your sins individually. May God have mercy on your souls.

NATO, Ghadaffi and the Libyan rebels are not enough to justify the war. An't there other stakeholders who can come out and justify the causes of this war?
If, and only, if NATO can field children on a front line then where is the world's order and civilization? If these children are from NATO countries one should sit down and think twice about it! If they are Libyan children then think about the kind of the next generation of Libyans. A haunted and traumatised population that did not know why it found itself in the middle of the war. If 18 to 21 years are ages of choice, why should the MIGHTY nato use the under age. Whoever thought for these children to make such a choice must be responsible for abusing their rights and contravining international conventions on and engagements of children in war.

Hello Narendra. I don't normally comment on comments but I'd like to make an exception in your case as it seems to me important. I don't mention other "warlords and terrorists" because I am not responsible for them. I AM responsible for what is done in my name. I am a citizen of a NATO country (allegedly democratic), and the actions of NATO are perpetrated under the cover of its own citizens. People should take responsibility for what is done in their name.

This is not the place to go into the litany of lies and inuendo that NATO and the West have perpetrated about various regimes to support their international piracy.

Hello Josef, I think criticizing politicians is not always right. should we just let tyrant like Muammar Gaddafi kill civilians including women and children ?. NATO forces are only supporting rebels and most of these rebels are civilians who want to get rid of the dictator. You didn't say anything about what Gaddafi forces are doing. You mentioned sins of elected political leaders but what about warlord and terrorists.

I wonder how those leaders can live and sleep seeing innocent people and children killed by their weapons! Aren't they human beings!
