Motivation for students

Exams have never been encouraging or pleasant thing to go though. It might be stressful, exhausting or even frightening experience, but each student has to pass that on the way to desired diploma. And if you’re one of those desperate students in need of motivation to study, we’re going to fix it right now. Get ready for that.

Warning: You will have to work on your motivation and get at least these seven steps done. NO EXCUSES. If you need something else, say sympathy or compassion, you may stop reading now. You’ve been warned.

Alright, here you go.

Are you one of that lazybones doing nothing and drowning in depression, self pity and procrastination? Are you the one who is afraid to start anything because of doubt, low self esteem and whatever excuses you’ve got?

Are you sick of doing nothing right and on time?

Try THIS.

The point of this task is to give you impulse to do something now. Don’t just sop it and continue doing nothing.

ACT NOW.

  1. Quit complaining about how bad you feel. World just doesn’t care. If you’re feeling depressed, stop focusing on it. The more you feel sorry for yourself, the worse you will feel. Just try to deal with the obstacles your life gives you and finally start to enjoy life. Did you catch the idea? Let me explain that again. Life doesn’t end on any problem you face; success is about how you deal with it. End of story.
  2. If you haven’t eaten yet, get a light meal now. For heaven’s sake, get something healthy and forget about that junk food that is garbage both for your mind and body. Get some fresh fruit or drink fresh juice. Well, if you feel too much out-of-energy, drink some coffee
  3. Get refreshed – take a contrast shower, go for a short walk or chat with that always-cheerful-friend, who most lifts you up. Put a 5 to 10 minute limit on the talk – you aim for cheer, not for a long conversation. Or maybe you will want to check this video out to cheer up :))
  4. Turn off email, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and whatever other distracting social network you’re stick to. Seriously, FORGET about them for now. Same goes for TV if it’s on. You may leave only your favorite music playlist going, to get you tuned. Hint: try something energizing.
  5. Now think on what you’re about to do. You don’t need to accomplish ALL the works at once, prioritize top 3 tasks to do.
  6.  Get together everything you will need – tools, stationery, books etc. If you are to do essay writing, check out what has been written about your topic online. Get some inspiring ideas, outline things that you would like to write about. Or, if it makes you really down, maybe you could try some online essay writing?
  7. Now do the most important part. Stop procrastinating and do some progress. Start writing, typing, reading on whatever you need to do. First it might feel forced, but soon you’ll get into it.

With these seven steps you will set yourself in a right groove and see small but still progressing. If you feel something is working better for you – please do it.
