Yesterday, I took my idiom book unwillingly and sat near my brother that was watching a movie in English language. I was reading the book and suddenly spotted an idiom " Blood is thicker than water " = family loyalties are stronger than other relationships.I just told by myself within such laziness " is it really used in speaking or writing so that I care and learn it ? -.- "

Exactly when I turned the page, some1 in the movie said " Come on ! Blood is thicker than water "

I just gaped at TV..at that time, I remembered last year that I was reading 504 book and saw the word " utensil " = device and furniture in the kitchen... I just wondered the same thing...After 5 mins when I picked an article to read, in the 3rd line it'd been said " .. like utensils and other furniture at home..."

Once, I wrote a writing and used lots of old idioms... My friend said " I'm not sure whether these words are really useful to learn and I don't think they will be used in your speaking or elswhere "

I'm just waiting to tell him " WWWWWWWWWWait and see -.- "
