Kiev is on Fire. Who is Guilty?

My dear friends! Today I can't stand writing this blog! My city is on fire. Look at these pictures.

It's how it looked about 3 months ago

And what it looks like today

Kiev is my native city, it is unique as many other old European  cities. It is used to be called "Mother of all Russian towns" and that is true, because it gave the beginning to the first East Slavic State known as Kiev Russ. For you to know, it was Ukraine that gave birth to Russia without knowing that it was pregnancy with dreadful consequenses. Anyway, Kiev is a great city, its architecture is unique even in Ukraine. Its culture has been forming during many centuries. To ruin such a city is a crime! And who is guilty? Who is guilty in deaths of 25 civil people and 10 policemen during one night? What is waiting for us?

The scored earth policy, or what? I know the answer. But I, as well as many other intelligent people who share the same ideas,  apply to the UNO for bringing troops to Kiev. If the world society doesn't interfere, I have no idea where it may lead our society where no one listens to what others say.

Tomorrow is Memory Day in Ukraine  for those who were killed yestreday. It is the decision of our president (let him burn in hell!). If you feel like that, I ask you to stop talking for a minute and to burn up a candle for those who will never see this world again, never have kids, never make love.

Excuse my being so sharp today, but I can't be indifferent if my country is on fire!

  • Dear Bob! Thanks for your comment! We shall win and they will see we are not "sheeple". As a result of Russian aggression, Ukrainian patriotism has risen greatly and our goal is clear: we want to be independent, democratic country that has nothing to do with the world where insane politics whobingnore their nations to make the rest sure that there are still countries others should be afraid of!

  • Tanya, I have been following events in Kiev and hoping that this current stability will continue. I hope the aggressors have learned that they are not welcome and they will back off. there is usually bad on both sides in a case like this but one side does worse things and blames it on the other.  Best of luck in keeping Ukraine independent.

  • Yes , we follow the news and our politics have fears whether Armenia  is going to be the ''next'' Ukraine, I mean they all  are afraid of aggression , but I'm sure something will occur on the first of March here!

so...good news from the Ukraine and am happy that life is coming to its normal way, it doesn't matter whom you believe, and whom you support the Europe or Russia, one should be patriotic in all ways, because it's kids  who suffer the most, we destroy or build their future depending on our political views .....the same happened in Georgia and in Egypt and much worse cases in Syria, I am scared and frightened for all of us....let us all live in peace (oh God, maybe i sounded like those stupid '' Miss Universe''s who says ''peace in the whole world''....:))

It's a great honour being your friend!!!!

  • Thanks, Daniel, Bianca and you all!

Dear Bianca! I surely know all news. Most Ukrainians are watching TV round a clock now. That is the truth. Nothing has been rubbed or destroyed here except one building on the Square of Independence which we call Maydan (it means "square" in Ukrainian language). This house was set on fire by the internal special troops. Even shop windows were not broken. You see, the Ukrainians are neither barbarians nor savages. My nation is spiritually rich, educated, civilized, peaceful in spite of anyting. We are strong in spirit, but have never been violent. In my opinion, it is ublelieveble for my people to demolish or plunder national wealth. During these days hundreds of thousands people are coming to Maydan to lay flowers and light candles in honor of the Heavenly Hundred as we called those who died in the name of our better future. But there is no agression against those who made them die. There is only demand of fair justice. All former leaders and ex-president are declared WANTED.

Kiev is coming back to regular life. All transport, schools, nurseries, universities, banks (except Russian) and other organizations have started working. The parliament is forming new government.

I think you all watch world news so you know what is going on

Tanya have you read this?, i saw this article in the morning, and still i wonder how civilized are the Ukranian people who hated the former president(let's call him former')

and they did NOT do any vandalizm or they didn't destroy anything there, in other countries angry frustrated and mourning people would have done a lot of harm to this resident, but the photos show how civilized are the Ukranians...receive my condolences once again for your heroes as Timoshenko called them in the square in her speech!

  •  Dear Tanya, my sincere condolences in favour of such a precious lost lives during this awful moment in your country. I hope evrything get well very soon over there. Get my candle as a symbol of my regrets for that2388891095?profile=original

  • My dear friends! I am so thankful for your understanding and support!  The situation is getting better now. At least our parliament is trying to do something. Yanukovych has been dismissed today as well as all power ministers. It's just turned out that he had been convicted and imprisoned twice before being electected as a president. Russia has always been the Devil Empire and it is still the same way. Barbare, I know and love your people. I still have many friends in Georgia. Your country is great and your people are freedomloving and fearless. One of your young guys died here a few days ago defending our independence. I don't believe in God neither do I believe in any goverment. But I believe in such people who are able to die in the name of freedom and democracy. I kneel down before such people. I am in black and my candle is still burning. I can't imagine that more than 100 people were killed at the order of own president. It is unbelieveble!

There won't be any cold war, Shaheen! There won't be any war in Ukraine until Russia starts it. And we never let it do it!

Today and tomorrow we are honoring and buring those who gave their lives for our future. I can't fin'd the appropriate video but I hope you will find it yourself. More than 100 civil people were kiled during 2 days. My special thanks to the citizens of other counСегодня в Украине День скорби по павшим на Майданеtries who helped us!

Let the candles burn! Heroes never die, they become a legend!

  • It's seems to me that cold war has been started again. Present Government of Ukraine and Syria is getting support from Russia. West is doing their won way. What to say more... our experience is neither good .

Just hoping,  peace will take place soon.
