I've found what i've looked for

For a long time i had a complex in using my English skills, though i've learned English language for many years (5 or even 6). I've constantly reminded myself that learning a foreign language can spread lifelong. And so all my knowledges were only on paper. But later i've succeeded in finding some foreign pupils, small kids, and i came across the fact that when working with children you need to make your lesson interesting and fun. So, a had to speak English for an hour long almost without stopping. And that's how i've come over my complex. Unfortunately, next problem was that i began to understand that i can speak sometimes wrong grammar or forget my vocabulary. So that's when i started searching throughout the web for opened English chats and reading materials to improve my skills. That's how i found this wonderful English Club, and hope to reach my aim. [And i ask all the moderators and new friends that read my blogs and comments to correct me if i write something grammar or vocabulary wrong!! Thanks in advance!)]

I began learning English because everybody did! Because for now on it's very important to know foreign language to be able to communicate other people. But then i realized that it's very interesting for me, i like to read books in original and search new people from abroad through Internet. I've started learning German, now wish to learn French, will start in 2 weeks, wait with a great impatience.

I guess listening and speaking are the main aspects i need to work on most. Because i want to continue my professional education abroad, hope to go US, so i need to understand and be understood.

Of course i'd like to join a group here, in EC, meet some students maybe that 're studying in US colleges and universities already. To get more information about this matter. Well, excually i like photography also. Are there any photographers here? Amateur and professionals) be happy to have photography lessons on line, and in English! 2 in 1 - like a shampoo))

  • shampoo was a metaphor)) anyway, thanks a lot for you comments, Mr Night. A guess, English will be my base language. To learn French has been the dream of my life since i visited Paris. I fell in love with the city and it's culture, it's people and language. I'm just making my dream come true.) I was confused for the first time when i started learning German, but then it passed. I know, it'll be hard, but still a great pleasure!
  • Anna,

Happy to see the thirst in learning in you and the ability to drink the as much as you could with out hesitating from the knowledge water. I think you are doing fine in your writings, I am not an expert, but I can full understand your blog, it is nice.

And, Learning many languages in the same time, I hope that does not affect your understanding, In my point view,  the chance of catching a bird on a tree is better than trying to catching many birds in the sky. I think accomplishing  one language will be the base that you will stand on.

I recommend " Audio speaking group" for you. It will improve your speaking skills. I used to like photography but not any more. But it is nice, and need special type of people whom have the sense of feeling the moment. I can write a poem about a moment or event but painting and taking pictures are not my specialty.

Thanks for the shampoo offer, If it was buy one get one free,  I would have consider it. :)

    Regards

    Night
