I LOVE YOU Challenge

I LOVE YOU….

Are words which we often hear from our loved ones, from our friends, from our kids, from our colleagues and from our superiors.  These magic words somehow captivated our hearts and made us feel special and valued.

When a man utters those words to his girl, it means that she is precious to him.

When a kid utters those words to his mom, it means that mom is very special to him.

When a friend utters those words to his friend, it means that his friend is very important to him.

But when an EC member utters those words to another EC member, the essence of the meaning is lost.  Lol.

Actually, I am not very sure about how one member feels about after receiving those affectionate words from another member.  So I made a great challenge in the EC main chatroom to verify what one feels after receiving those words.  I found out that majority of the members are hesitant to say the words.  I could sense their shyness for reasons still unclear.  Maybe, they can explain it further here.

THE CHALLENGE:

MEET THE BRAVEST MEMBERS

CHALLENGER 1:  SKR

CHALLENGER 2:  LADY ANNE

CHALLENGER 3:  BLESSING

CHALLENGER 4:  ALLEN

CHALLENGER 5:   REEYAZ

CHALLENGER 6:   CROCODILE

CHALLENGER 7:  RATU

CHALLENGER 8:  BIAN

There you have them folks.  Have them explain why they chose to say I love you to the members of their own choices and what do they mean by those words.

****************

Dare to say I love you to a member?  Why not!  Let the other members know how special they are to you!  Put them in words and write them in the comment.

THIS IS A CHALLENGE which can make others happy.  Give LOVE on this MONTH of the HEARTS.

  • lol....you were using AGG that time!  In fact, you were busy with a nice lady that you didn't see the chatters in the main room going crazy with this challenge, haha!

Thanks .....Enjoy your time to the fullest!

  • I have just read something :D I hope you didn't mean AGG :D

I love you so much Aneleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :-*

btw, my name now has become AG ;)

thank you very much, I didn't expect it, seriously :D

  • Wow, so my name has a good story to tell.  Well, Anne with "e" matters here in EC for our conversation is done mostly in writing.

That story is quite amusing.  Since the characters were talking to each other, it was really reasonable to ask why the spelling of Anne or Ann mattered most when the name was pronounced the same.

With or without "e", the pronunciation is the same.  But Anne is more royal to look at than Ann when it's written!  Good point from Shirley.  I, too, felt the same way.

  • I do love many of my friends here. I really do. I could name at least one of them if you promise you'll drag that person back to MyEC. Can you take the challenge, Lady Anne? hahahha

By the way, I just noticed that you're "Anne with an e"! LoL

Have you read "Anne of Green Gables"? If not, read the following:

The child hesitated for a moment.

"Will you please call me Cordelia?" she said eagerly.

"CALL you Cordelia? Is that your name?"

"No-o-o, it's not exactly my name, but I would love to be called Cordelia. It's such a perfectly elegant name."

"I don't know what on earth you mean. If Cordelia isn't your name, what is?"

"Anne Shirley," reluctantly faltered forth the owner of that name, "but, oh, please do call me Cordelia. It can't matter much to you what you call me if I'm only going to be here a little while, can it? And Anne is such an unromantic name."

"Unromantic fiddlesticks!" said the unsympathetic Marilla. "Anne is a real good plain sensible name. You've no need to be ashamed of it."

"Oh, I'm not ashamed of it," explained Anne, "only I like Cordelia better. I've always imagined that my name was Cordelia--at least, I always have of late years. When I was young I used to imagine it was Geraldine, but I like Cordelia better now. But if you call me Anne please call me Anne spelled with an E."

"What difference does it make how it's spelled?" asked Marilla with another rusty smile as she picked up the teapot.

"Oh, it makes SUCH a difference. It LOOKS so much nicer. When you hear a name pronounced can't you always see it in your mind, just as if it was printed out? I can; and A-n-n looks dreadful, but A-n-n-e looks so much more distinguished. If you'll only call me Anne spelled with an E I shall try to reconcile myself to not being called Cordelia."

"Very well, then, Anne spelled with an E, can you tell us how this mistake came to be made?

  • So sweet of you Bro. Dimi.  Thank you so much!

  • Dear Bob,

Bob, that was the most generous words I've ever received from someone in EC.  Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.  For the first time, I am speechless, hahahaha!

To say something more will render my words insincere and I don't want to give such an impression..   Really, really THANKS!

P.S.  Sometimes it's not bad for a teacher to play favorites, hihi!

  • I love everyone here, but some a lot less and some a lot more. Is that fair? I don't know about fairness, but I love my oldest friends the most. Anele, you are maybe my oldest friend that is active these days and I love you the most.  The rest of you, make me proud of your improvement the way Anele (I mean Lady Anne) has done and line up for some extra love too...

All in all I love this site and this community of friends. Sure, I get a little annoyed sometimes by people who don't play by the rules, but I always love MyEC.

  • Yes, its better to be safe than miss out someone :D :D
  • Gopal that was absolutely great!  Simply uttered but boldly done.

  • I love Garima!
