How I Enjoyed My First Salary

The first day in school, the first love, first wife, the first job and the first salary always become unforgettable part of memory. I, first time, applied for the job. Gracefully, I was inducted in an organization where more than five hundred applications were received. After rendering almost two months service, I was asked to collect the cheque of my first salary. I, at once, went to the bank nearby office to draw all amount. I was so much excited to have the first salary, which I earned by myself, in my hand. The atmosphere was so pleasant. Everything seemed congratulating me, cheering up that added so much energy to my soul.At that time, I had no private convenience and used to use public transport. While standing up at the bust stop. I felt like that I should reach at home by flying and tell my mom this breaking news :). Meanwhile, I frequently checked my wallet to make sure if the wallet was in my pocket or not lest happy news would turn into sad news. Everyone, who stood around me could easily notice the complexion of my face, which exhibited the glee in my soul. The realization of being useful part of the family as well as the society is beyond the description.On the way to home when I passed by a confectioner's shop. I turned back to the shop where I bought 2 kg chum chum and ordered to wrap it with beautiful paper just to express my merriment. When I entered home, I saw everyone busy in his work. I thought if I excited more than requirement. They might judge me wrong. So, I went to my mom to whom I gave the sweet, whispering her, "this sweet I bought from my own pocket. I mean from my first salary." My mom, at once, kissed my forehead and prayed so much for infinite success in future. I felt bit emotion for awhile. This was how I enjoyed my first salary.

My first salary..... :)
As soon as i got it i went home with holding my bag tightly :D as if the bag will escape fro me lol
but honestly i made myself as if i am the mum of my whole family by inviting them..... How Proud i was ;):D

Hi Arif,

It was nice to read about your first salary. I can imagine how proud and happy your mother must have been when you offered her chum chum. Is chum chum kind of a sweet?

I still haven't earned my first salary. Hope to do so very soon.
