How I dress up

How I dress up

My dress pertains to almost all sorts of dresses popular in our area.

Pant, Shirt, boo-shirt (this is shirt with coat collar). I do not wear tie even I do not how to tie it. These are the dresses which I mostly wear to go to work. I sometime tuck the shirt in side the pant sometime not. For boo-shirt there is no need to tuck it in side the pant.

At home I usually wear Kurta and shalwar, Kameez and Shalwar,

There is another dress which now most of the people do not wear. This is Loongi (Tehbund), It is mostly worn in some of the parts of India and Pakistan. The style varies region to region. It is sort of skirt mostly worn by men. But in inner Punjab of India and Pakistan women also wear, but these are the village women. In the cities no woman wears this dress. This clothe is for lower part of the body from middle belly it falls down to feet. I wear this while  I am at home. It is very comfortable especially in hot weather. For upper part I wear Kurta. I and my elder brother wear this dress. It is becoming very uncommon these days.

For sleeping, I usually wear shorts in summer and kurta shalwar of very fine and soft cloth in winter, but our winter is not very cold so I also wear shorts in winter.

Our climate does not permit me to wear full English/American/European Suit. I have worn this dress on very few occasions in my entire life.

I like all light colours, but BLUE is my favourite.
