Greatest MyEC Adventure

The year is coming to an end. To blog about our experiences or great moments on MyEC would remind us how we're able to contribute our own little ways to make this site be continuously patronized and supported by many members regardless of their English levels or knowledge. This is also a reminder if improvements of learning the language are achieved, based on the goals that we set to ourselves.

I can say that my English has improved a lot if I'd compare it to the previous year. I know that I still need to work on my goals to attain fluency and be equipped with the language. The comments, likes, suggestions and personal messages from other MyEC members served as complement to make my journey on EC as lively as possible. It's nice to keep in touch with our virtual friends and develop our English at the same time!

Being chosen as the video moderator of our club is one of my greatest adventures to date. I felt grateful that the admins bestowed this opportunity. There are responsibilities and challenges that would need to be considered. For the past eight months of stay as your moderator, this volunteer position has helped me widened my horizons and understanding on videos that were uploaded in our gallery. There would be times that my patience was being tested. I posted this blog to keep us reminded on what types of video to share in our club. I'm counting for more pleasant, entertaining and most of all educational videos, though! : )

I'm very thankful to our diligent learners and teachers who keep on sharing video clips in English, and to those who are following the guidelines. You know who you are! I wouldn't notice such educational videos that they're existing on the web if they weren't shared in our gallery. Some of them were very helpful to me.

Thank you to my fellow moderators for allowing me to join in your challenges. Writing and photo challenges gave me the chance to share my creativity. I hope you'd also take part in my video challenges in the future. : )

May all of us reach our goals and aspirations for the coming new year! Cheers!

  • Hi Anele,

Your comment really made me smile! I do love Chipmunks because they are quirky, funny and adorable. You're right, we tend to smile even if we're experiencing difficulties and disasters in life. Their movies have lots of moral story, too. The photo was taken in a movie house in SM Megamall last summer. Unfortunately, their movie wasn't available that time.

I am proud on what I accomplished in our club. : ) Maybe, my interest in learning English gave way to make all these activities possible he he. By the way, I absolutely believe that we Filipinos are hard-working in any fields or careers we are having. It's no wonder why we are world-class! : )

I'm glad Rajesh reminded me to come up with this blog. I'm sure he has a memorable adventure to share with. How about you? I bet you have one, too! Like being a spambuster......?

    Cheers to us!

    R☺bbie
