I recently read an interesting article. It said that Facebook, Inc. announced that they are developing a system with which things we think can be changed into characters and we can display them on terminal devices without typing anything on a keyboard. This method to read what a human think doesn't involve implanting some devices into the human brain, but they are detachably attached to close to the head. They aim to input 100 characters into the terminal device per minute in the future and this is five times as fast as we type them on a smartphone keyboard. Nobody can know so far whether the plan is feasible or not, but the developer said, "Though you may think it is impossible, it won't be so long as we might expect."

We usually speak and write what we think after organizing it. If the idea becomes a reality, the screen connected the terminal device will be filled with many words we think randomly and we don't want other people to know. Do you think the idea will come true? If it comes true, do you want it?

  • Hi, Mishaikh. Thank you for your comment. Yes, we have a lot of thoughts not to want other people to know. :D

  • It is dangerous at the same time. For example, you are at computer and your mom wants you to come and help her.  Would you like to see what reaction was going on in your mind at that time to see on your monitor in a character?

I don't think so.  But It may be useful for the Spy Interrogation in CIA sort of agencies.

  • Hi, Onee-chan. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

  • Hi Tam!

I don't think this will succeed. Nothing can compare to what human being can do. Furthermore, thoughts are always scattered in mind. You can imagine a child who wants to convey something but he is still learning, that time, the words are not managed well. It needs some intellectual skills to combine words in delivering their speech.

The message that typed will not be valid as it is probably mixed thoughts.

Even if it comes true hundred years later, a few lazy people may want it.

  • Hi, Janeth. Thank you for your comment. Yes, we have some our mind that don't want others to know.

  • Hi, Roman. Thank you for your comment. I think so, too.

  • Whit technology you never know Tam....I think that some kind of technology makes us less humans, so I hope what you are describing doesn't happen soon. We have some gifts as human beings, our " inner place" is one of them, that belongs to us and we cannot lose it.

    Thanks for sharing Tam!

  • Hi, Tam!

I think, it is not going to become true. At least in near 100 years.

I will see. I mean, they will have to test it on other people a lot! And only after that, maybe I will try it.
