Most of the population in the philippines are Christian around 85% and most of them were catholic. There are so many ways to celebrate christmas in every house. In my 4 years life I never experience celebrating it out of the country or with a partner. But I spend it most of the time with my family.

Some of the Roman Christians beliefs are the Simbang Gabi ("Night Mass"; SpanishMisa de Gallo, "Rooster's Mass", or Misa de Aguinaldo, "Gift Mass")[2] is a novena of dawn Masses from 16 December to Christmas Eve. Wherein most of these were influence of spanish believing that when you're attending the masses it means to show devotion to God and heightened anticipation for Christ's birth, and folk beliefs holding that God grants the special wish of a devotee that hears all nine Masses.

Filipino has many ways of celebrating it, before christmas we usually have christmas carolling and many more. But in our town, it is very peaceful and so quite. But in some places in here, they were still practicing active carolling, abundant christmas lights and many more.

During Christmas eve, we celebrate it with noche buenas and some members are wishing before eating. And gift giving to the family members, some celebrates reunion and parties and having some fireworks however it is prohibited now so some use loud noise to avoid many accidents. We have the most longest celebrations of christmas.

Some people were practicing chinese culture, though they were purely Filipinos. Whatever it is, rich or poor christmas must celebrate it.It is a reminders for everyone that it is the birthday of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is not only how many foods you put on the table, how big is your christmas tree but it is a way of giving thanks to him that at the end of the year you still alive and kicking, and we have "Jesus" who saves us. It is our time to celebrate it with the people we love most & the people who still there for us.

The meaning of Christmas is giving, sharing, love and time to reflect. Holiday is for everyone and we must not waste too much money every year that we need to spend it all by ourselves, we can also share what we have to the poor if we have enough money.
