Bromo Mountain

Bromo is an active volcano that still active and best known as a tourist attraction in East Java. As a tourist attraction, Mount Bromo to be attractive because of its status as a still active volcano.

Bromo has a height of 2392 meters above sea level is located in four regions, namely Probolinggo, Pasuruan, Lumajang, and the District of Malang. Bod shape of Bromo mesh between the valleys and canyons with a caldera or a sea of sand covering approximately 10 square kilometers. Many tourists visited to Bromo to saw the beautiful sunrise.

  • Thanks Galina,I have never seen the eruption of volcano. Kelud Mountain, it can be taken for 1 hours from my house, has erupted in 1989 when I was under 1 year age.

    Bromo got the last eruption in 2004. Two people died in the incident. In 2010, Bromo had been a small eruption. 
    The increased volcano activity has been occured a few months ago, and otherwise closed for tourists. But now began to be opened again for tourists because of its activity is decreased.

  • What a picturesque view! The sunrise is really breathtaking! It's an unusual place....an active volcano....so exciting! When was its last eruption? Zahrul, have ever seen the eruption of the volcano?   OK, I think it was an unforgettable trip.....thanks for sharing!
