A SPEECH

My wife, a veteran professor, a college principal, delivered this speech when she completed her Observations period in a Montessori School. I would like to share it with you people with her permission:

"I am thrilled to be here at this auspicious occasion, the one of which every student, irrespective of age waits. LEARNING HAS NO AGE LIMIT. IT GOES FROM CRADLE TO GRAVE. I would like to share with you all the moments I have passed here in this esteemed institution, where I once again learned how to teach students, I have been teaching the Intermediate and the graduate students throughout my life, I now realized when I found myself amongst the small kids during my observation that how much enjoyable the teaching is when it comes to teach these young children, which you can hardly find when you teach the older student. I thank all my teachers and seniors to let me have this opportunity to learn here, and provide me chance to have observations in a school here in Karachi and I also got the opportunity to have six weeks observation in Baltimore, USA during my recent visit there. It was a very good experience and it enriched my vision of the aspect of teachings the kids. I once again thank you all.
As salam u alaikum."

  • Thanks for your consideration.
    I will sure do.

  •       My friend, every teacher is a grate person because, he or she has enough courage to deal with students, whether kids or adults, every day. So, as a matter of fact, your wife is a grate person and I am as well because, I am a teacher too. God bless you my friend. Please, give my regards to your wife.

  • lolz

It's not a matter of being inquisitive or not, it's just a matter of belief and principle (maybe you will not get it), but anyway, if it was for mere hobby and fun, it's okay then and congratulations your wife has useful hobbies, and being her has those hobbies you mentioned here then I bet her major is housekeeping as everywhere in the globe teachers who teach housekeeping have same hobbies, even their major is merely to teach hobbies.

Anyway, thanks for your concern to explain and good luck for you both.

  • By the way my wife also do Ikibana (flower making and flower setting).

My wife also do clay work.

My wife also do wax work.

There are others...................she makes decoration pieces.

Is there seek any degratation, from her principal-ship.

My wife is fond of art work, she has made (written) Allah in Arabic with ice cream sticks, we have this hangong on one of our walls, besides other paintings done by her.

  • Very in quisitive Just User.
My wife is fond of doing everything. She didn't do this for her progress. She did it as her hobby. But what do you think, is this easy to control a bunh of kids, if so just try once as a volunter.

She did this montessory diploma, here in Karachi, but her visit to America was schedule too, so she applied for OBSERVATION (this is sort of internship) in Baltimore, which was accepted and after coming back she also completed the remaining internship period here in Karachi.

Hope your confusion has got a satisfaction, otherwise, let me know, I will further clarify.

You must know there is no degradation in learning, if a Principal of a college want to learn how to teach montessory kids, what's the hitch is there in it. This is not for earning, this is out of hobby and fun.

    LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • Do you mean that your wife who is a COLLEGE PRINCIPLE in your country when went to America studied how to teach the SMALL KIDS?!

Excuse me, how come that would be a step forward for her?!...I think that learning is a very important target in our life, but we should learn what gives us a push forward not backward, sorry if you do not like my opinion but your blog gave me a feeling that would mean that a doctor of your country when goes to America must then work as a nurse!!!!!!!!!!

    Sorry again and good luck.

  • Thanks Ohnie, I appreciate your appreciation.

  • Congratulations to your wife, Mr. Mishaikh.  Thank you for sharing her short but sweet speech.

  • Very ture saba.  Thanks for your scholactic comments.

  • There was a great Iranian scholar called Abu Rayhan al-Biruni who really spent his life on learning from cradle to grave. I think when we spend time on learning , life is pleasant and meaningful for us, ........and we are not sad by passing time, because we learn more.
