This is my father!

He is my father, very unsocial and carefree.  We are his two kids, a son and a daughter, me.  I know my father loves me more than he loves my brother.  I enjoy this privilege belonging to a daughter loving family.  I have pictures when I was a child, I see myself sometimes in his laps, sometimes riding on him and giggling.  I remember whenever by brother teased me or snatched my toys or color pencils or refuse to do anything asked, I used to phone my father and he always used to say, “what happened baita?, what he’s done now?  Is he teasing you again?  OH! Broke your toys!  Tut tut, ok don’t cry I will bring you the new ones, yes I won’t bring anything for him, just relax,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,”

I am now grown up,  and my brother is grown up too and gone abroad, I am here alone to enjoy all the love, care and even a look full of affection of my father.   I am married now.  When I was getting married,  my father was very happy (but sad too).  He used to say,  “baita, what will I do when you are gone?”

Yes, This is my father!

  • Thanks Danny for a nice comment.
  • Dear Mishaikh, it is a great story as always! I do expect who the dad is! Anyway, it is so natural for us to love our kids whatever they do and men usually show more attention to daughters. It doesn't mean they love them more. It is just natural. I wish both your kids to be happy

  • And my father only has one daughter, me, among brothers.

*thinking of him.... I know that he loves me much.

  • Yes moonlight, you are right.  A father is and should be like this.

  • Thank Onee for commenting on my blog for such a long time.

  • Mishaikh.......

My keen eyes can't be wrong. The father is ...... :)

That's the life. A father must have feel lost and also happy when a daughter is married. He would always pray the best for her. Wish both of them a happiness. :)

  •   I always think about become a father, I think it is brilliant but be a doughter is the best!!! ...Thanks to share this comment...

  • I once told my father “what will I do if you die? I will go crazy!!!”… we were talking to the phone as I was away working. One of my aunties from my mother side died, and then I placed myself to my cousin’s shoes, what if it’s my father? What will I do? Not because I’m dependent on him, I prove that I am self-reliant for so many times but the thought of him leaving me for real will probably shock my being like unimaginable electric voltage…that most probably I will die to follow him. I’ve been very open here in EC how I love my parents and how I wish they will live as long as I live. But life isn’t like that. I just got some relevant feeling same with the person of this blog.

Nice thought to ponder. Thanks for sharing this.

Btw, he got angry after I said that and told me "even if I die, you are alive. With or without me you will go on with your life. " :((((

  • If a girl has a loving father, is he always the first love of a girl. She is going to compare the men with him. That's always lovely and sweet because it shows him he is a good, loving and caring father.
