In continuation of blog series under title as written above and demanded by an Indan friend, I have written its fifth part as promised with him.

The Nehru Report, which made the Hindu-Muslim rift final and irrevocable, had sowed a seed of separate homeland for Muslims. In response to vide report, Muhammad Ali Jinnah announced his famous  Fourteen Points in March 1929 during the session of All Indian Muslim League. Although these points were not given any importance in the Congress circle as well as by the government authorities, yet it postulated Muslims as a separate national identity.

Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, popularly known as poet-philosopher of East and Allama Iqbal initiated the idea of separation. He, while addressing to the League's annual session at Allahabad in December, 1930, said, " I would like to see the Punjab, North-West Frontier Province [now called Khyber Pakhtunkhaw], Sindh and Balochistan amalgamated into a single state. Self-government within the British Empire or without the British Empire, the formation of a consolidated North West Indian Muslim State appears to me to be the final destiny of the Muslims, at least of North-West India."

After his speech, he convinced Muhammad Ali Jinnah in this regard, saying that there was no any leaders except him who could lead the Muslim to the independence. As a matter of fact, Nahru and extremist Hindus were leading Muslim to the separation. Resultantly, Nahru and Ghandi stood to trash Indian Muslim to the corner. For they used some rental Islamic scholars into their favour, especially scholars belonging to the Dar-Ul-Uloom Deo-Band rejected the ideology of Pakistan. Muslims in India had been divided into two groups, one stood by All Indian Muslim League and other supported the Congress.
