I am Modern Technology, your true friend. If you are here then it's me who makes it possible. I know it very well that you can not imagine your life without me, but I am a bit concerned about how some people misuse me. I have some advice for them.

Try not to be dependent on me:

I know, you all have fallen in love with me and can't live your life without me. I am happy for that, but, sometimes, I get sad seeing some of my lovers get addicted to me and ruin their lives. Please, don't misuse me. I have given you everything you need; I have made many great changes in your life style. I am so sad seeing youngsters getting fully dependent on me.

• Motor cars/bikes: I am made for making your long journey comfortable and you are using me even while going on morning walk. Try to go outside without me to keep your body fit. I am made to save your time, but that doesn't mean drive/ride me very fast to call the accident. Always drive/ride me in a controlling speed and do follow traffic rules while you are with me. Do not let your teenagers play with me.
• Mobile Phone: That day would be  "The Peace Day" for me when I will be liberated from misuse. Use me where you find it useful. Don't call back when you find a missed call from an unknown number or asked to be call back by someone. If you do so, your account balance may be stolen. Don't let your kids play with me.
  
• Internet: You must have recognized me. Yes! I am the king on this growing techno era, and you can not think your life without me. I provide you almost everything at your home, but at the same time it can be dangerous if you do not check out properly what you are ordering. I bet, you must have heard something called "Password" when you use me. I strictly recommend you not to share your password with anyone, not to click "remember password" button asked by browser if it's not your personal computer, and not to click any unknown links before checking it. You must have heard recent news "Millions of Google password leaked". Don't be afraid, you can be safe by using the security services provided by the service provider and strong password. Google has provided you "2-Step Verification" to be safe; do set it today if it's not already.

Teach your children to make proper use of me:

Seeing children addicted to computer games makes me worried. Motivate your children in playing outdoor games more than playing computer games. Teach them not to get addicted to me, but make the right uses.

Youth, make me your best friend and use me in good deeds:

I am very much concerned about today's youth when I see them spending much time with me skipping their other important work, misusing me and creating problems in their own lives due to me. My dear youths, you know, I can be both life maker and life destroyer, thus, make proper uses of me and don't blame me anyhow. Never try to find real happiness in me, it is inside you. I am just a source who makes you happy for a moment. I am your best friend, who can help you in many ways. Make use of me in your development more.

Use me in the development of countries:

Give a look, how I have helped in developing countries. I have given power plants to produce electricity, computer systems to make your work faster and easier, flights to travel long distance in seconds and many more. But, I am afraid to see how people are using me in their own destruction. I am afraid if I become the cause of destruction of the world.

My dear inventors, I am so happy to see you making my new inventions everyday. I am so thankful to all of you, but just let everyone know to make the proper uses of me if not then no one can be more dangerous for them than me. :-)

The World's Biggest Problem: Lack Of Moral Education

Scientists, Engineers, Doctors, Professors, Lawyers, Marketing Specialists, City Designers and so many specialists Universities, Colleges and Academies are producing today in the world. Number of people with higher degrees are increasing day by day. It's great! Because, our society needs more educated people. We can overcome our problems only through the education, therefore, we are moving towards the right path, because our educational system is developing day by day, along with, literacy percentage is increasing?

Sometimes, when I visit some places where rules must be followed strictly or watch news from around the world it oblige me to think on our educational system. Is this the influence of higher education? It's right that only education can help us live happily, peacefully, and with brotherhood, but which education is that? If that is the professional education then we are going up on it day by day, but at the same time our lives are going down.

Many great personalities talked many great words about education, but it seems, in this modern world it has totally changed. Robert Frost said that "Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence." Which education Mr. Robert is talking about, because it has found that educated people are loosing their temper and their self-confidence more than others.

In today's world if a young man is asked "What is the meaning of life?" many will try to find the answer in Google, because this is what we learn in this modern techno world.:-)

Our moth utter some beautiful words like "This world is a family, and we all are the members of this beautiful family". We have a beautiful saying in India: "Hindu-Muslim, Sikh-Isai, aapas me hai bhai-bhai" which means all religions reside in India are brothers. But, our modern education system has made them saying only. We do many "peace talk", but it goes totally opposite while acting.

I Chin says, “When your inner world comes into order, your outer world will come into order”. And today, we are on the race to show our outer beauty that's why we are facing inner problems, like, anger, fear, depression, increased pressure, greed, etc. 

My personal view on it is that, if universities, colleges and schools care much about moral education and also a special subject on it can be added, then there would be a great positive change in this beautiful world. Apart from that there could also be special positive classes for all citizens, somewhere at universities or special department for it can be made; and it is such a subject that we can't change our within in few months only, but it should be a long term for individual.

I'm very glad to see that nowadays many colleges and schools are adding moral study in their syllabus, and I wish it would bring a brighter change in the world.

At the end of this blog I would like to say:

Uniqueness is a great gift by God to us, each human on this world drama has his/her own character, and we can not change the world by changing any once character, but it can be changed if each individual starts changing the self. Self care is the world care, thus, change the self and the world will change automatically!Thank you so much for giving your precious time to read my view on the world's biggest problem!

I want to improve my English speaking / I want to improve my writing skills / I am looking for a learning partner / I can't speak in public / I can't speak English with confidence even I attended highly paid English classes / My English is very poor. Are you wondering who is saying these things?

Thousands of English learners. Yes! You can hear these kinds of messages from thousands of ESL learners, even though there are many resources to improve English skills free of cost, with fun, and without giving any extra time. Why? Why are learners still having problems in their English learning journey?

In my point of view, they are: not following any suitable resources, not taking English as a daily activity, working with no goal, afraid of making mistakes, and she/he is serious, but getting diverted.

We EC members use many selective resources for improving our English skills; we are under the care of expert teachers and advanced learners from around the world, and this is what makes this place unique on cloud. Learners and teachers at EC always bring many fun activities to improve our English skills and learners find themselves improving a lot with fun. We, learners even don't know when and how we improved our skills in a very short time, without having any burden of class homework. Congratulations to all EC members for being on the  right English network. 1. Right choice of resources: In my point of view, this is the most important step for online ESL learners. We all know that Internet is a store house of resources, there are thousands of English learning websites, ESL Articles, blogs and ESL material websites. It's worth using all of them, but selecting some and following them will save your time. This will help you to achieve your goal easily, and will never let you feel something, like, this place is not for you or you can't improve your English easily. As I see, this step is important for all learners, but very important for beginners.

2. Making an English learning goal: making goals and moving with it is one of the key to achieve success not only in learning, but all walks of our life, thus, it's very very important to make an English learning goal to guarantee success. In my perspective, having no goals in life will lead you nowhere.

3. Take English as an activity: it happens mostly with the offline learners; they go deeply through grammar, go through spoken English books, read newspapers and so on. While doing all these only one thing runs on learners mind is that, I am learning English, and I will speak English after all. It's necessary to learn grammar and all these, but if you do these activities like you did when you were at school then it may disappoint you. Yes! It may disappoint you when you don't succeed in your journey, hence, take it as an activity. That means make English part of your daily life.

4. Make your own effort: most of us tell that we are unable to find anyone willing to speak with us in English, but this is not necessary. It has already been proved that students can master English without having a single English-speaking friend or co-worker. If you are really interested and determined to learn, you will do so, and you will not make the lack of English-speaking friends an excuse! Make your effort the first priority, and that won't let you complain the same.

Be true with the self and you will find many other ways for improving yourself.

All in one: Right selection of resources, making an English learning goal, and being true with the self will play a vital role in improving your English skills.

Birthday Present For a Girlfriend

It was Sunday and I was planning to visit somewhere. Suddenly, my phone rang, it was one of my friends whom I met in English Park last Sunday. He asked me if I was free and if I could go shopping. Yes! I answered him, as I myself was planning to visit somewhere. I asked him what he had to buy and which market he planned to go to. Birthday gift for my girlfriend, he said. He was new in this city, so he didn't know any market himself. I told him to meet me near "The Free Supermarket". He came, and we both entered the market. We went to the garment stall, first. A beautiful dress attracted his eyes and he asked me about it. It's very beautiful, I said. Again he asked me about the color, and I answered him, you should choose the color yourself. He picked the red one happily. Lovely choice, I said. We moved to the jewelry stall. We ourselves didn't have any idea about jewelry, so we asked the shopkeeper then, we bought a necklace and moved to the cash counter. Rs.10005, Sir, the cashier spoke with a smile on her face. No discount? My friend asked. Sir, we have discount in cloths, but jewelry? First cashier asked to second, but the second didn't know, herself. They didn't know about it themselves, so they called the manager to ask him. We made the payment and returned back to our home.

This is a writing challenge blog and I wrote it myself. It's very helpful for improving our writing skill. You can challenge yourself to participate in this challenge.

Hello my dear EC members,

It's me once again here at the end of the year 2012. So, what do you do or what do you remember on the last day of the year on MyEC? It must be different-different things to do and to remember for each and every one, but as it comes to me then the last day of the year is a special day for me on MyEC. It's the day when I say 'good bye' to the calender year and to MyEC year. Don't misunderstand me, I am not saying 'good bye' to MyEC, but it's the day when I joined MyEC in 2010, so I am saying 'good bye' to my second year on MyEC.ヅ

Yes! I am two years old on MyEC! I am very happy to say that I have completed two years on MyEC, and what makes me more happy are: you all. Thanks a lot to everyone for making my second year on MyEC very beautiful. This year gave me more confident in English and I learned many new things this year from  all lovely teachers and friends. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much from bottom of my heart to you all!

My 2012 MyEC journey:

It's always very interesting and helpful to participate in each and every section of MyEC. I enjoyed and learned many new things from all section of MyEC as much as I could. These helped me more this year:  

I can write better than before: Participating in teacher Tara's writing challenge is always the best way to improve your writing skill. I went through all her writing challenges this year, but participated in few only and these helped me to make my writing skill better than before. I will list this one where I was more confused before joining the challenge.

I am more confident in speaking today: Speaking skill is something which can be improved only by more & more practice, and MyEC gave me the environment to practice more and more. "Audio Speaking Group" and a newly created group "Voice Bloggers" by teacher Tara are best place where we have more chances to practice speaking. "Audio Speaking Group" is always very helpful for me and it helped me to improve my speaking this year too.

My Special Gift Wrap of 2012:

Yes! I received many special gifts this year. This summer brought some special gifts for me which made my 2012 very pleasant on MyEC. Teacher Hala's lessons about Tenses helped me to write sentence correctly. It was really a great moment for me on MyEC. Thank you so much teacher Hala and Anele for giving such important lessons to us! Loved the moment and waiting for the coming soon... :)

Phonemes And Pronunciation: My best of the best and unforgettable memory of the year. My dearest teacher Gabriel & Galina, I owe you both a great debt of gratitude. All your encouraging words and great lessons increased my confidence level a lot.

The idea of writing MyEC adventure is started by our dearest video Mod Robbie. Thank you so much, bro! It's really great looking back our achievement during the year, and it's a great challenge for us to do every year. :)

LOL! It'll take a lot of my time if I introduce all MyEC friends one by one in this blog, so just let me introduce only five.:)

Aija is one of the very helpful member of MyEC. She has joined MyEC recently, but it seems as if she has been here for a very long time. She helps English learners over Skype and she also has a personal group on MyEC. She is from Latvia. She is a Latvian. The official language of Latvia is Latvian or also sometimes refereed as Lettish. Her profile shows that she speaks Russian and English. 

Tawfeeq is a longterm MyEC member. He is from Iraq. He is an Iraqi. As I can see from his page, he speaks Arabic and English. His way of writing blogs is very nice and I like it. He writes very nice poems always, and also records his voice.

Who is gonna tell about Iraqi and Arabic, is there any difference?  

Deepa is one of the most activate member of MyEC. She is an English teacher. She is from India. She is an Indian. Her profile says that she speaks Tamil and English. Tamil is a language spoken predominantly in South India and North-East Sri Lanka. If you visit her page and read her blogs you will laugh from her humorous way of writing for sure.:)

Anau is one of our latest STAR members. She is from Indonesia. She is an Indonesian. She knows Indonesian, Bandung, Sundanese, Arabic, Javanese and English. LOL! Anau, it seems you love learning new languages so much, don't you?     

Scarlett is a very active member of MyEC. She joined MyEC few months back, but she has improved her English skills a lot. She comes from Vietnam. She is a Vietnamese. She speaks Vietnamese and English. She has a very lovely voice and can sing very nice. You can listen some of her songs in the group "Karaoke". She loves English language so much since she joined MyEC. It's sure that she is gonna be fluent in English if she continues with the same speed.

Dear Mom,

I received your gift. It is in front of my eyes right now, the doll is in my hand. Oh! what to say, I can't bring my eyesight back from her face.ヅ She is really beautiful.ヅ By the way, if I am not wrong, she is wearing Vietnam's traditional dress, isn't she? How do girls like wearing this beautiful traditional dress and how often they wear it? Do they really feel comfortable while wearing this long dress?  I guess, all like wearing this beautiful dress but, not sure if girls of this modern world really like wearing it and feel comfortable while wearing.☺ I'm just curious to know. And, what's the official dress of your country for women? Ha, seems, I asked a lot of questions related to girls' traditional dress in your country but, I hope you won't forget to share all about men traditional dress also.☺

Now, coming to the shoulder and that small bag. Both are very beautifully decorated and I loved that but unfortunately, you send that for my girlfriend. I know you care more about my girlfriend than me. But, I hope you care about me as well and know that I don't have any girlfriend yet so, I wish, a beautiful girl with smile face will come out from your next gift box.ヅ Okay, now, I'd like to change above word unfortunately into fortunately because, I think this is my fortune that you care about her first because, you know if she is happy, I will be happy.ヅ

Now, coming to the beautiful thing. Lol, can you guess what's that ? Of course that is the lovely card but, there is something else more beautiful inside the card. I know, you'd have assured that I am talking about your handwriting.ヅ Lol, don't be more happy  if all your friends and I said your handwriting is beautiful because, they haven't seen mine.ヅ It was very boring when I heard all our friends saying that your handwriting is beautiful and they will vote for you. Now, I know that none of them will vote for me even my handwriting would be more beautiful than yours because, you have already trapped them.☺ So, I have decided not to show my beautiful handwriting here and ask if mine is more beautiful than yours. I let you win this handwriting challenge and I vote for you too.☺ I want you to know that the most beautiful part of the card is, your sweet words like sugar. Loved it more than others. First of all thanks and congratulations to you for taking a place in my favourite websites list ! It was a time when I searched and went through many websites for improving my English skills. Do you know that most of the members who visit you become your fans and love you. Do you know that if I write history about SN, you would be at the top. It's my luck to see myself as a star member among all your superstars & starts. The information, knowledge, news and all the things I'm getting from you helping me lot. Always many thanks to you for all what you give me and special thanks for giving me some friends those are sweeter than honey. They care about me, ask me about my health and even they don't forget to ask me about my homework. I love them so much even some envy on me but I don't hate them. Life is nothing without friends and they are my friends and without them I am same as fish without water.

You know I found your environment very peaceful and I love it because I love peace. Your members are very helpful, they always help each-other. You can always see happiness in my eyes when I learn something new from others. I feel very happy when I see my improvement in writing, reading, listening, and speaking skills. For that what should I give to your members, I know I'm a big debtor and I owe them a lot. My big thanks is always for them! And as you're a great ESL website I know you'll shine over internet very soon like sunshine.

Your environment is really peaceful and safe and the reason of safety is that your members have  respect and care to each-other and follow some rules.

For example:

The members of "MyEC SpamBusters" group don't like spam and they can't see spammers, spamming here and the good thing is that they have given the permission by admin to report spammers.

They follow the "User Guide", "Photo Guidelines", "Guidelines for video" and all the rules which is made to keep this place clean and safe.

Because of this safety and learn with fun you help your members to improve their English quickly. You can see some housewives forget their housework and get busy with your interesting lessons because they like entertainment while learning English. The "seven secrets for ESL learners" sent by your founder in mail is really very interesting and helpful.

... and when I chat with my friends and touch my mouse and keyboard I feel like I'm touching Chocolate. :)

Hello my dear EC family,

Today is the last day of the year 2011, time to say good bye 2011 and happy new year 2012. And today I am so glad to say that I became one year old on EC. heheheh..It was the same day a year ago when I joined EC with having the purpose of improving my English skills. After looking on internet for English learning site once I came across EC, in the beginning two - three months I was not very familiar with EC and I was a big addicted fan of Farmville on Facebook and after becoming familiar with EC I have really become a addicted member forgetting Farmville, however this is more beneficial for me than Farmville, where I'm improving my English skill with a lot of fun.

Today I'd like to say special thanks to all of you:

It'd be glad for me seeing my EC's 2011 adventure as one of my brother has already done.

Nothing would be more than saying "today I'm better in English than I was yesterday and I'm sure tomorrow I'll be more better than I'm today because I'm a member of EnglishClub.com".

Let me give a glance to my adventure:

I participated in LEVC 2011: It was not an easy task for me to attend this contest but teacher Tara's comment always encourage me to attend this contest and I did it. This contest gave me a lot of encouragement in my English learning life and I learnt my other fellow participants ways of learning English. It was really a nice time for me on EC.

I enjoyed doing most:

• Reading and writing blogs: I enjoyed reading and writing blogs. It's so nice to write something and get corrected by many teachers and senior learners. It makes me feel proud to be a member of EnglishClub where I     can write something.
  
• Listening and recording voice: It was so to listen others around the world and record my own voice. Oh, but I listened more than I recorded my own. It's so nice to follow others on audio speaking group.
• With English club lessons: It's so nice to going through EnglishClub's learning lessons. It's really written in very interesting ways that makes reading very easy and interesting.
• Reporting spammers and welcoming new member on EC: hehehe I also did these activities with fun and joy.

I created a group: I created a group "Real Dialogue" where you guys have a challenge "Dialogue Making Challenge". It's not a group where only one can do activities. It's silent these day, I hope it can be an interesting and helpful group.

I became star member: It's so glad to be in STAR's list. Becoming a star also gave me a lot of encouragement.  Who are STARs?

Unforgettable memory: Just want to say this year would be unforgettable for me when I met to all of you nice guys, who gave me a lot of love and many more and this make me call EC "a big worldwide family". I met to some people this year whom I can't forget all my life and you guys mean a lot for me and I'd like to say only "I wish our this relationship would be forever!"

For any of my mistakes in 2011 I'd like to say so sorry !

Big big thanks to EC team: You all deserve all the best. Wish you all all the best for your great job. May the god make all yours dreams come true!
