There is no doubt that the white clifts are one of the UK's most spectacular natural features, facing the strait of Dover & France.

Dear Evangelina, The cliffs are made from chalk, a soft white finely grained limestone. The chalk layers built up gradually over million of years. This white cliffs of Dover are cliffs which part of the English coast line facing France.
