  • No wonder they just use Bangkok. :)  \(o_0)/

  • According to the web:

Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Ayuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit

    In English:

The city of angels, the great city, the residence of the Emerald Buddha, the impregnable city (of Ayutthaya) of God Indra, the grand capital of the world endowed with nine precious gems, the happy city, abounding in an enormous Royal Palace that resembles the heavenly abode where reigns the reincarnated god, a city given by Indra and built by Vishnukarn.

It looks long enough for me. (^,^)

  • Ohnie, what's Bangkok original form?

  • I thought Bangkok has the longest name in the world in its original form.
  • LOL Vietttt ... Malay language is much simpler than that. :-P

  • Oh my, it's even translated longer by my google friend. Noassss Really, I thought it's Malaysian.

  • Vieettt... it's a village in a valley, somewhere in Wales, United Kingdom. According to Uncle Google, it means "Mary's Church the hollow of the white hazel near the rapid whirlpool the church of Tysilio with a red cave" \(0_o)?

  • I don't think I can call its name exactly even if it was in my language. Noasssss, Is it a forest?
