Anele, thanks for your cheerful comments and humour....Ok, this is a huge park on the hill. Saratov is situated in lowland among three mountains (hills), and the park is situated on one of the hills...so it looks like a forest. It's called Victory park..it was made to commemorate the memory of soldiers and other people died in the Great Patriotic War ( 1941-1945)...It's known in the world as the World War 2nd. About 27 million Russian people died during the war. So, the memory about this event is very important for all Russian people. There's a museum of war tanks, planes and other weapons of that time in the territory of the park. The park is 5-7 min walk from my house.
Thanks Irina! You never fail to encourage me, my dear friend. This is another amazing place in Saratov, except the river Volga. It's Victory park on Sokolovaya Hill. It's a wonderful place, especially in spring when all the flowers are in bloom....and it's near my house.
