This image from al Jazeera brings to mind the quote "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing", usually attributed to Edmund Burke (1729-1797) though with no real evidence.

    Oh.. thanks Karenina, your last sentence helped me to understand the picture. So, what she meant by silence in this picture is "doing nothing" right? I thought it was "being silent" (not talking).
