Photo Challenge: My hobby

It's been a while since we posted our last challenge. This challenge, which was inspired by Fitma's creative patchwork(http://www.myenglishclub.com/photo/20161014-201647?context=featured), is to capture a photo of what you are fond of doing in your free time. Share a hobby or something that can refresh you immediately despite doing it only for a few minutes. Name the photo "Photo Challenge:My hobby", describe a bit the mood of how you enjoy it and submit your own photo. My example:Making clay dolls for my friends is one of my favorite hobbies. Usually one doll would take me about one week to complete from the feet, head to accessories which is very time-consuming, however it all deserved they were happy when getting the doll of "themselves" even though the doll sometimes looks not like them perfectly. :DNow, it's your turn. :)PS: The hobby can also be an activity of reading a book or drinking a cup of coffee whatever you like to spend time doing to yourself. I would love to see your hobby soon.

  • Wow I'm going to post a discussion about hobby and I see Onee-chan photo: hoppy challenge. I feel so happy to see other members hobby. They are so diversified.
I feel their enjoyment by seeing those photos.
You are so clever to make dolls too.
  • Hello NotAClue,

Thank you so much for the feedback! I appreciate it! :) Without internet and tutorials, you could even make jewelry with polymer clay in your 10s, that's very amazing than me!! :) It would be very precious if your jewelry are still kept so far. Yes, these are built after animation film characters. Since the works are not on sale, so it's good to practice as many as possible to make each one a bit better each time. Thanks again for all your lovely comment! :)

  • Hello Serence, ta very much for the sweet comment. Really? That would be great if you'd also like to share us your works once you have a good chance to take photo of them. It's always fun to make something from zero to being done! You are welcome to join the challenge anytime! :)

  • Dear Grace! So creative you are, making such doll with clay is taking much time and passion, I did make some dolls and left them my parents house after my marriage.

So lovely doll you have made!

  • @NotAClue  By the way, I wonder what kind of the material was you used for making marionettes.

  • Hello NotAClue!

I appreciate your short words that always spread positive power! As for your question, I started learning to make fruits with polymer clay from a teacher for 1 year in 2013. And then with these bases, I kept learning about how to make human dolls from YouTube or online websites. Before trying to make human being, I practiced lots of cartoons including The Simpsons, Snoopy, Frozen, etc. One of my favorites is the roles of inside out as these five ones depict human being's emotion suitably so I tried to make them out from the movies. :D  Each of them both have some defect, yet these are necessary learning nutrient a learner would absorb from. Thank you for asking the question.
