I took this photo a while ago, and if i remember well, i think i used my Nikon D100. As it was too heavy for me to carry when i travel, i bought a lighter one which is now, a Panasonic lumix. It's a much less exensive camera and the results are very good and what is the most important for me, it has a very good 18mm optical zoom. I also always have in my pocket a tiny one which is a Canon Ixus. I really love it, but the problem is that, the zoom doesn't allow me to make good pictures of people, unless i am not to far from them. And as you know, when people notice you make a picture of them, they loose all their spontaneity.
Your ability to make photos will come. When i look at the pictures i made when i was 10 years younger, i think they are not good at all. Now, i just make pictures when i feel moved inside, and most of the time it works and the result matches the feeling i had when shooting.
So go out, and take pictures, it's like with english learning, the more you will practice, the better the results will be :))
Which photograph machine do you use ? As long as I see your photo, I can't stand going out and taking photo... But, I have neither a natural place like that nor ability like yours :))))
