End of August is the harvest festival for Uygur living in Turpan. Situated at the lowest altitude in China with climate of drought and unbearablely boiling heat with temperature averaged at 40 degrees Celsius throughout years, Turpan makes possible for fruit like grape and hami-melon to be as sweet as you can possibly imagine.
