  • Hi Nafis,
Interesting indeed! Whether it's sweet or not so sweet I really like it the first time I've tasted it...
  • Hi,it's very interesting.I'm from Armenia and here we have our own Baglava, which we are making with nuts and honey. It's very sweet and tasty. But I've tasted Iranian too, because we have Iranian stores here.I love all typies of Baglava!!!!

  • Dear Lynne,
I was thinking that Baqlava is just for the Iranians but I understood that it is totally wrong and many other people like Turkish, Romans, Arabs and Greeks have their own Baqlava. But, first, Greek seamen and merchants brought it from Middle East to the Europe and add different layers and honey to it. It is interesting, isn't it?
  • Hi,
Really... all the while I thought there's only one type of that sweet. :-) Thanks for informing me.
  • Dear Lynne,
This is the Iranian version of Baqlava and it is less sweeter than other types. I have tasted Greek Baqlava which is really sweet and has honey in it.
  • Hi,
I have tasted this already. This is very sweet but the combination of nuts added in it makes it very inviting. Really delicious!
