A typical dish from Ecuador. Rice with bean sauce (arroz con menestra de frejoles) Could be different types of beans, chick peas, or even lentles. It is served with chops (pork, cow, or lamb), fish, grilled chicken, etc. This one has lamb chops and fried plantains. There were two choices apart from the chops: pork ribs or grilled tilapia (a kind of fish).
