the elevator

The Elevator

An Amish boy and his father were in a mall. They were amazed by almost everything they saw, but especially by two shiny, silver walls that could move apart and then slide back together again.
The boy asked, "What is this, Father?" The father (never having seen an elevator) responded, "Son, I have never seen anything like this in my life, I don't know what it is."
While the boy and his father were watching with amazement, a fat, ugly old lady moved up to the moving walls and pressed a button. The walls opened, and the lady walked between them into a small room.
The walls closed, and the boy and his father watched the small numbers above the walls light up sequentially.
They continued to watch until it reached the last number, and then the numbers began to light in the reverse order.
Finally the walls opened up again and a gorgeous 24-year-old blond stepped out.
The father, not taking his eyes off the young woman, said quietly to his son, "Go get your mother.

butterfly & the cocoon

butterfly & the cocoon

A small crack appeared on a cocoon.

A man sat for hours and watched carefully

the struggle of the butterfly to get out of

that small crack of cocoon. Then the butterfly stopped striving.

It seemed that she was exhausted and couldn’t go on trying.
The man decided to help the poor creature.

He widened the crack by scissors. The butterfly

came out of cocoon easily,

but her body was tiny and her wings were wrinkled.

The ma continued watching the butterfly.

He expected to see her wings become expanded to protect her body.

But it didn’t happen! As a matter of fact,

the butterfly had to crawl on the ground for the rest of her life,

for she could never fly.

The kind man didn’t realize that God had

arranged the limitation of cocoon and

also the struggle for butterfly to get out of it,

so that a certain fluid could be discharged from

her body to enable her to fly afterward.

Sometimes struggling is the only thing we need to do.

If God had provided us with an easy to live without any

difficulties then we become paralyzed, couldn’t become

strong and could not fly.
Don’t worry, fight with difficulties and be sure

that you can prevail over them.

The beauty of woman

The beauty of a woman Is not in the clothes she wears… The figure she carries Or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes Because that is the doorway to her heart, The place where love resides.

The beauty of a woman Is not in a facial mole But true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.

It is the caring that she lovingly gives The passion that she shows.

The beauty of a woman With passing years-only grows.

the strength of men

The strength of a man isn't in how respected he is at work
It is in how respected he is at home.

The strength of a man isn't in how hard he hits
It is in how tender he touches.

The strength of a man isn't how many women he's Loved by
It is in can he be true to one woman.

The strength of a man isn't in the weight he can lift
It is in the burdens he can understand and overcome.

GIFTS FOR MOTHER

Four brothers left home for college, and they became successful doctors and lawyers and prospered. Some years later, they chatted after having dinner together. They discussed the gifts that they were able to give to their elderly mother, who lived far away in another city.
The first said, “I had a big house built for Mama. The second said, “I had a hundred thousand dollar theater built in the house. The third said, “I had my Mercedes dealer deliver her an SL600 with a chauffeur. The fourth said, “Listen to this. You know how Mama loved reading the Bible and you know she can’t read it anymore because she can’t see very well. I met this monk who told me about a parrot that can recite the entire Bible. It took 20 monks 12 years to teach him. I had to pledge them $100,000 a year for 20 years to the church, but it was worth it. Mama just has to name the chapter and verse and the parrot will recite it.” The other brothers were impressed.
After the holidays Mama sent out her Thank You notes. She wrote: Dear Milton, the house you built is so huge. I live in only one room, but I have to clean the whole house. Thanks anyway.
Dear Mike, you gave me an expensive theater with Dolby sound, it could hold 50 people, but all my friends are dead, I’ve lost my hearing and I’m nearly blind. I’ll never use it. But thank you for the gesture just the same.
Dear Marvin, I am too old to travel. I stay home, I have my groceries delivered, so I never use the Mercedes … and the driver you hired is a big jerk. But the thought was good. Thanks.
Dearest Melvin, you were the only son to have the good sense to give a little thought to your gift. The chicken was delicious. Thank you.”

love poem 2

I lose you again in circle of love and take refuge from my God, the only sentry to keep you in this circle. I'm sure I've taken a good sentry. Some times I feel pain in my eyes and can't beer any more tears. What should I do? If the challenging of love lasts years, if it has problems, if it needs power to encounter hardships, I've got to tolerate and stay. Should encounter and have patience and go on the challenge. I use power of love as the protector for my uncontrollable heart and also, I want him to protect you and increase your power for the hardships come to you. If you forget even to open the window of your black bricks room, go to that notes written last summer. Maybe a word of hope was written. I gave my heart's sigh to fall breeze. Each black bricks of your room are incarnation of that sigh, one by one.

love poem

I swear by the quiet silence of your paper house, I know your dreams are as beautiful as my fancies believable.

You've got the mystic believe of love from my silence. I've got the final point of belief from your silence.

Maybe it's not possible to feel that the words we say about the paper world we've made are hearable. But we can start to paint the gray branches of the paper trees green.

I know painting, you know painting too. So why don't you start?

When I was a child, I didn't have any water color. I used to go to little garden near stream and cut all the color flowers and paint. If we search the paper garden near paper house for a short time, there have to be flowers to paint our believes the red color of love.

pls try it

Don’t go for looks; they can deceive
Don’t go for wealth; even that fades away
Go for someone who makes you smile
Because it takes only a smile to
Make a dark day seem bright
Find the one that makes your heart smile

self_contemplation poem

It is natural to feel disappointed
When things don’t go your way
It’s easy to think...
"I can’t do it, so why try ?"
But no matter how scared you are of making mistakes
Or discouraged you may become
Never give up
Because if you don’t try and
If you don’t go after what you want in life
It won’t come to you
And you’ll be forced to accept
Things that you know could be better
Success is not measured by
Whether you win or you fail
There is always a little bit of success
Even if things don’t go your way
What’s important is that
You’ll feel better about yourself

what is Nowruz?

NOWRUZ 1393 - تحویل سال در ایران
March 20th - پنجشنبه ۲۹ اسفند ۱۳۹۲

What is Nowruz? (Norooz)
Nowruz (Persian: نوروز‎) is the name of the Iranian New Year in Iranian calendars and the corresponding traditional celebrations. Norooz is also widely referred to as the "Persian New Year".
Nowruz is celebrated and observed by Iranian peoples and the related cultural continent and has spread in many other parts of the world, including parts of Central Asia, Caucasus, South Asia, Northwestern China, the Crimea and some groups in the Balkans.
Nowruz marks the first day of spring and the beginning of the year in Iranian calendar. It is celebrated on the day of the astronomical Northward equinox, which usually occurs on March 21 or the previous/following day depending on where it is observed. As well as being a Zoroastrian holiday and having significance amongst the Zoroastrian ancestors of modern Iranians, the same time is celebrated in parts of the South Asian sub-continent as the new year.
The moment the Sun crosses the celestial equator and equalizes night and day is calculated exactly every year and Iranian families gather together to observe the rituals.
Originally being a Zoroastrian festival, and the holiest of them all, Norooz is believed to have been invented by Zoroaster himself, although there is no clear date of origin. Since the Achaemenin era the official year has begun with the New Day when the Sun leaves the zodiac of Pisces and enters the zodiacal sign of Aries, signifying the Spring Equinox.
The term Norooz in writing, first appeared in Persian records in the 2nd century AD, but it was also an important day during the time of the Achaemenids c. 548–330 BC), where kings from different nations under the Persian empire used to bring gifts to the Emperor, also called King of Kings (Shahanshah), of Persia on Norooz.
The significance of Norooz in the Achaemenid empire was such that the great Persian king Cambyses II's appointment as the king of Babylon was legitimized only after his participation in the New Year festival
The UN's General Assembly in 2010 recognized the International Day of Norooz, describing it a spring festival of Persian origin which has been celebrated for over 3,000 years. During the meeting of The Inter-governmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Heritage of the United Nations, held between 28 September – 2 October 2009 in Abu Dhabi, Nowrūz was officially registered on the UNESCO List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
