Eid-ul-Adha

Today {10th of ZilHaj(12th Month of Islamic Calendar)} is one of the biggest celebration in Islam. This was a message, you might give it too. But, please let me put it here. Maybe all of us know about the story behind it. But I think some of its expressions are new. Thanks.Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated by Muslims all around the world on 10th of ZilHaj(12th Month of Islamic Calendar). It is also known as Festival of Sacrifice. Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated by Muslims in remembrance of Abraham. Abraham was having dream in which he was sacrificing his only son, Ishmael, for Allah (God). When Abraham continuously started having this dream, he mentioned it to Ishmael and Ishmael at once said that he (Ishmael) should be sacrificed because Allah (God) is showing him that dream so that Abraham can sacrifice his son.Heavy Heartedly Abraham had to admit that. Do; note that Ishmael was born to Abraham after a very long time in their marriage.Anyway, Abraham and Ishmael went on a spot which they chose for sacrificial purpose. On the way, Satan appeared and asked Ishmael to move away from fulfilling his father's dream or orders sent by Allah (God) but Ishmael moved away those thoughts created by Satan and Muslims till today mark Ishmael's move by throwing stones at that place (where satan appeared to Ishmael) to show their hatred for Satan and Respect for Ishmael. After that, they both reached the place where Abraham was supposed to sacrifice Ishmael. Ishmael then laid down and Abraham tied a cloth around his eyes (to not get weak from cause) and was about to sacrifice his son by cutting his throat with knife. It was at that very time when Allah (God) sent a Ram from heaven and replaced Ishmael with that Ram. Abraham unknowingly sacrifices a Ram by cutting his throat and when he opened his eyes; his Joys knew no boundaries on what he saw.Allah was so impressed and fell in love with Abraham's Love for him(Allah) that he made it compulsory for even Muslims(who can afford to buy animal and hire butcher) to remember that event by sacrificing an animal which can be Ram, Camel, Sheep, Goat and Cow/Bull/Ox and then distributing the meat in three equal halves i.e., One for Poor/Needy, Second for Relatives and Third for Ourselves.Allah also termed Abraham as his friend and honored Abraham with three Religions-Judaism, Christianity and Islam from Abraham's Generations.Desserts are also made on that day to celebrate it. People buy new clothes and decorate their homes on even this Eid to celebrate it more colorfully.Islamic world and all my friends get blessed feast of the adha.Happy Eid

      Every moment that we are happy can be Eid
    • You are welcome!
      And of course thanks.
      But, May I ask what its wrong is?
      Why can't we use Day there?
      And why must we use Moment?
    • Of course you are right Dear Ensie.
      But…
      Not Sinning = Being happy. Because God will be happy.
      Let me say some thing about Sin please.
      Sin is something that our religion says we shouldn’t do, because it’s very bad. But why is it bad?
      It’s bad because we will hurt ourselves or others when we do it.
      God loves us and doesn’t like we hurt ourselves or other people whom he loves. So he wants to see human’s happiness. When we don’t sin it means that we don’t hurt any person, so we are happy(I mean real happy) and God is happy because of it too.
      I think Not singing is subset of being happy in this case, because when we make glad some person sin doesn’t have any place here, but we are make ourselves happy too and due to it we also make God happy, So it can be Eid moment.
    • :)
    • And also smiling is one of things what makes people happy. And due to it we will have Eid moment. (Of course, Not one kind of them that you have created a name for it).
    • " Khabisly " you mean ?? :->
    • Yes, Exactly. And it seems that this kind of smile has many popular here. I’m seeing that our friends create a Chinese one too!
