When I first joined MyEC, I knew I wanted to motivate members to WRITE. I love teaching writing. Most importantly, I love showing English learners that writing can be fun. Writing practice doesn't have to be about corrections and grammar and organization. It can be about creativity, and sharing, and getting to know each other.This was my first writing challenge: Uh-oh, what happened? Nobody took the challenge. I had to think of a better way to encourage others to join.For the next few writing challenges members wrote their answers in the comments of my blog. Gradually, members began to respond to their challenges on their own blogs (using the Writing Challenge title). This worked much better! The chain story challenge worked well the other way, though. We should do that again.Anyway, MyEC has come a long way. I welcome new writing friends to my blog each month. I miss old ones like Salim, don't you?

Fantastic. Yes, there are a lot of what ifs with blogging, including "What if I don't know what to blog about?". You are very brave to try. I'm so proud of all you have accomplished here and with your learners. Thank you!
