It's me Miley. Welcome to weekly share IDIOMS. I love to participate in DVL by giving TEN Idioms in a week (maybe every Monday). I know this is already familiar with you and probably you are using it with your everyday speech. You can share these idioms here, too. Let us exchange views regarding Idioms and do some activity, okey.

What is an Idiom?

An idiom is an expression whose meaning does not seem to follow logically from the combination of the meaning of its parts and the "rules of language".

Idioms and their meanings

1. tickled pink - extremely happy

2. toe the line - follow conventions or rules

3. tooth and nail -  do something fiercely as if your life depends on it

4. turn over in his grace - a dead person is supposed to do this when something is done that he would be strongly object to if he  were alive

5. turn the trick - to accomplish something

6. up your sleeve - something concealed

7. mince matters - express politely, soften facts

8. wet behind the ears - to be very young; act in immature way

9. wet blanket - a person who checks or dampens enthusiasm

10. wise up - use better judgement

    Today, I just studied two part phrasal verbs that we were seeing frequently,

    I made firstly "listen and repeat" and secondly " listen and write " now you can see my writing which was put down while listening, ı am sharing my exercises here, because I would like to come back to repeat, repetition is one of the most important part of the progress, as you know quite well.

    I like putting out a lot of effort and going after my dreams :))))))

    Well, How you can make your practice ? I am putting on its link, really it works, but if you are ready to learn honestly :=)

    -English Club is not a strict place, administration behaving very friendly,

    but even we know when we have to toe the line.

    We have different answers in #6 and #10. Mine are,  turn over in his grace and wise up, respectively.

    As a learner of English, we often make mistakes.
