  • Hello, Joseane!

The question is quite difficult, there's much to ponder about..

I'm convienced that every person can change, but sometimes it can take great efforts. As its very wide topic for discussion, I'll rubricate my answer with particular examples.

First example. A young man, who doesn't think about it's future. He might be sent down from universities several times, have bad and distructive habits, go against and quarrell with family, he might even commit a crime. It may be a temporary fact, just influence of hormones or bad friends and goes away as he will have grown up. I know many men who used to behave like this, but turned into responsible chieves and loving fathers.

Second case. A person is good by nature, but have smth in the past that interfere him to be a good person at present. For example, some incident that he can't rely on people or some kind of psychologic complex. We can find the reason and fix it.

The worst case. The man is bad by his nature. He was fostured to be such a person and don't ponder that ha makes people suffer or thinks that it's normal behavior in such cruel world. Smth considerable must happen to make him look at his life in retrospective. Usualy its some kind of disasters - may be death, crash or jail (as was written before). In that case people often turn to religion and change significantly so that we can't recognize them.

    • Good explanation!!

  • Hi Joseane,

Not all the time peopple change for better, like some of my friend while in school days we all were so close, doing things together as we all enter highschool things changed like few of them change to persue their dream but of them were really ina bad condition sue to the friend circle. i think it all depend on person to person.  some time i feel people change due to the work pressure or some health issues ot sometime situtation change them to became totally different like one of my friend as she turn into modelling she start talking about class and trandy things, i found it it well obvious to change as it is her profession but she talk like this all the time. so i felt i do have changed my behaviour toward her.

And about your second question yeah i do beleive that a bad person  turn to a good person. but i  havent seen anyone yet but heard a lot from my friends and family. As one of my cousin was alcholic he drink like anything all the time he was drunk he started his own business right after his graduation but due to his friend circlr he start drinking and became so alcholic that he dont even realise about any thing, and after few year he lost his business, my family was always worried about him. but soon after few year of unemployment some how he got married (as we have a custom of arrange marriage in which parents choose bride and groom for their children) he changed stop drinking doing job have two kids and now happily married thats what i heard. so i belive that it may be possible that bad person change into a good one.

Note;- please feel free to correct my writing

    • Hello Pinki,

Nice reply!! Just to give my opinion, I don't think an alcoholic person is a bad one because she/he has a disease. I also heard that really bad people can change for better, but I honestly never met one example.

      Bye!!

    • Hi Joseane,

People do not always change for  better, like some of my friendswhen in school days we all were so closed, doing things together even entered high schooltogether.   Things changed like few of them changed to pursue their dreams,  butsome of them were really in a bad condition than when they used to be.   I  think it all varies person to person.  Some time I feel people change due to the work pressure or some health issues or sometime situation change them to became totally different like one of my friends as she turned into modeling.  She started talking about class and trendsI found it well obvious to change as it is her profession but she talks like this all the time.  SI felt I would change my behavior towards her, too..

And about your second question,  yeah I do believe that a bad person  can turn to a good person. But unfortunately I haven’t seen any one as yet, though I have heard a lot from my friends and family. As one of my cousins was alcoholic .  He used to drink like anything all the time.  He became and addict.  He started his own business right after his graduation, but due to his friend circle he started drinking and became so alcoholic  that he couldn’t  even realized about any thing, and after few years  he lost his business  My family was always worried about him. But soon after few years of unemployment some how he got married (as we have a custom of arrange marriage in which parents choose bride and groom for their children) he changed and stopped drinking,  doing job, have two kids and now happily married. This is what I heard.  So, I believe that it may be possible that a bad person would change to a good one.

  • Hello Nimi!!

Thanks for your reply. I think jails don't change people in a good way, or at least not most people. If the prison don't have a project to correct the prisioners behavior, like appointments with a psichologist, places where they can work, and other things, there is nothing to cause a good change. They just will can learn with the other prisioners, and this may not be a good thing.

In some countries prisons are just a place to lock people and nothing more than that.

    Bye!!!

    • In some jails of some countries, crimnals are created.

      I agree with you Joseane.
