Hello all,I have downloaded many pictures on my profile and i receive quite a lot of comments about them. Of course, it please me a lot, but i have a question that keeps coming back to my mind.Which qualities does a photo needs to please people ? What do you think about this ? It's great to see a friend -although in a photo -this is why ( i think)you have recieved lot of comments .Of course photos can express itself ,no need words or explanation .And the most attractive ones are those that transmite feelings or messages by only a look .

I guess there are two factors regarding a good photo. One is about the content of the photo and another is the photo itself.
The first one contains the meaning inside the photo. what a photo tells. I think every photo has its own story and we can notice a lot by looking at it like the place, date, history, social life ,etc.
In addition to what i said above, how we take a photo makes it unique. For example, visibility, the frame of the photo, light or generally, technical issues.
In the end, I love your photos because I think you mix your emotions and heartfelt feelings with your photo. And, as I like natures and people, your photos show them so well. And, more importantly, a photographer should be creative and I think dear Manuela, you are so creative. Some of your photos has very special angles and I can think about them differently.

It's not easy to answer your question.
For me personally different things make a photo great,it also depends on my mood,sometimes.
In average,I like those,which captures our eyes and our emotions,are exceptional in some way,out of ordinary sometimes,or scenes I want to see and visit,and I adore photos about babies all the time ...etc....it'd be a long list.
your pictures are a good example of the kind of photos I like.

First image is a theme in life ... each image carries with it special meaning .. but sometimes we find that one picture where a lot of meanings and feelings, whether happy or sad or...ect ,and people differ in tastes .. maybe I like this picture? But you do not, and vice versa....
For me, I like the picture taken with the camera but I like more hand-drawn pictures because it has a special touch or a natural touch..
I love all kinds of photos and perhaps more about nature and flowers .. because they carry the hope and love and comfort and all the noble values in life ....(Ithink)
