Make Your Mission Statement Work

I am in the mid way of reading this book by Marianne Talbot. She is a freelance writer, philosopher, and acts as a consultant, also a popular speaker.

This small and easy to read and understand book is a great piece of work by Marianne and suits all those who are working in organisational development and who are keen in settling great practices in the organisations. Being a trainer, speaker and designer, I have found it a very inspirational reading.

She has given six step approach towards formulating mission statements, and covers many important areas along like values, leadership, empowerment with related case studies.

Very good book for academic reference also. Please enjoy reading it.

(Published by USB publishers and the cost is about 3 US$.)

    • Hi Hyunju, reading is specific to the interests of each individual. The book which I have referred here is very useful to those who believe in missions. Mission is a great motivator and hence reading about it should generally motivate such people. I am sure this book, which is short and beautiful will definitely help you in many ways. You can get in through some websites like junglee.com which posts books to your home address at some concession. Thank you for your response.
