  • Dear Nadiyah! I like your post very much. I hope, I can say a few words before "filling in the blanks".

Well, I have never been a bookworm as there has always been too much to life than books, but I have always enjoyed reading and I prefer reading paper books till now. I like buying them, holding them in my hands turning pages and getting into the world of that great illusion. In my real life I am a university teacher of natural science (chemistry and physics) and my students read mostly books on this or that special subject. I am almost sure if I ask them about some famous writers like Jack London, Mark Twain, Alexander Dumas, etc., they will say they are some baseball players, or bloggers or... Even scare to think!

Well, to finish your sentence, I would say:

If you are a teacher of natural science and you are sure you are a true book lover, just ask your students to answer what those people (writers, mentioned above) were and tell your students they will never pass your exam if they don't answer. It is not funny, but I sometimes play such tricks with my students and, trust me, they start reading! Ha-ha-ha!

  • Tetyana, I'm sorry to be a party pooper, but I doubt you can live without water and/or air :/

And neither without food... Unless you're gonna eat books. But I don't think it's a good idea.
