Have you experienced this? You check the box of the friend(s) you want to send a private message to, and the message goes to the wrong person?There is currently a bug with the member scroller which is used for choosing who to message. A fix is in process. In the meantime, be sure to let the area you are choosing from load completely before checking the box next to a member.

I had this experience recently too, of posting to one member going to another whom I hardly know of. It is embarrassing particularly if it is confidential . What can one say ooooooooooops wrong address!! I wanted to do it and then had second thoughts, hoping the person will not open it.
Like Josef, I never use it that way. I can imagine some situations that be difficult for people. If the bug ever pops again I guess the E-mail rule applies. Never send anything you wouldn't want the world to see. :D
I never use that method, partly for that reason. If I want to PM someone I go to their page and click on Send Message. Of course that's not convenient for sending a message to multiple users, but EC regards sending a message to multiple users has potential spamming anyway.
