I am pursuing a bachelor degree of English in year 4. My teacher of Applied Linguistics has just told me to do a project on his subject but what is the matter is he didn't provide me a topic and what he wanted me to do is finding the topic by myself. I don't really know which topic is an appropriate one should be chosen so that I need some suggestion from all of you.

I think you are the only person who can solve this problem. Now, you don't know what to do because you don't have enough information about what you are going to do. If you gather more information, you probably find your topic. You can also ask for help from your professor. I wish you all the best.
