London winter may seem quite chilly and windy but still it can offer bunch of entertainment that are of lower price comparing to summer time.

But before starting your greatest holiday ever be sure you are well packed as the weather can make you stay inside most of the time. A woolen coat will be perfect choice to feel comfy. Don’t forget about the scarf, gloves and a hat.

The best way to take all the advantages out of winter is an ability to enjoy it to the fullest.

Start loving London just before the Christmas Eve because it is just really fabulous time to be in London. Adore crispy mornings in royal parks, wander the Oxford and Regent shopping streets sparkling with Christmas lights and don’t lose the chance be involved in ice skating beneath 1000-year old walls of London Tower.

Hyde Park as known as Winter Wonderland since November till January will offer you great variety of entertainment: Christmas market, giant Observational Wheel, fairground rides, Zippos circus, ice rink, different bars and cafes of Bavarian style, large restaurant and of course Santa’ grotto. Be sure to grab full wallet of money not to just go around and watch.

Ice skating rinks

If you found of ice skating – London is the best place to show all your skating skills on the rink. There are three main temporary winter rinks in London that you should not miss: Natural History Museum rink, the Tower of London rink and Somerset House rink.

Seasonal shows of Art

More than 250 seasonal art shows taking place in London art centers and concert halls annually during winter holidays. Check those places not to miss them. The shows are opened at: Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Center, Southbank Center, Ronnie Scotts, Rangers Lodge London, W2 2UH Seasonal, 606Club etc.

Christmas Tree

If you decide visiting London during Christmas follow the tradition and go to Trafalgar Square to see the famous 25 meter high Christmas tree, a Norwegian gift as a friendship gesture and gratitude for the Britain’s assistance in World War II.

Christmas food on Thames

You surely must taste Christmas food and drinks in London. Take a walk along twinkling waterside of river Thames and enjoy the tastiest seasonal food in one of the wooden chalets there.
