in this sentence and situation could u please help me with making a sentence and explain me the meaning of that
i read it in this sentence :

'I haven't seen you for ages' or '... for a very long time'. It's just very colloquial. It wouldn't say as a fixed expression, but it's the most common use of the phrase, 'in forever'.
