    I will make an example:

    Claudia gets 8 in English test
    Rebecca gets 9
    Indira gets 10

    So, we can say:
    1. Rebecca is better than Claudia.
    2. Indira is the best.

    It is better - when we compare it - Comparative Degree. Still not satisfied with the things

    It is best - When use Superlative Degree. Now it is flawless and no one can match with this.

    although i know we use better in comparative and best in superlative
