You decided to go for dinner to the restaurant with your partner. A girl say: "ok, today I will invite you." Would you be against or no?I personally have no problem with this and I even suggested it in the past. Not to make poor miserable beggar of the partner but I somehow felt I owe him and btw why only men should pay for women.

  • I don't think there is any problem with that. I paid some things to my ex-boyfriend and he did the same for me. And to be honest, I don't feel confortable with guys paying things for me.

    • Joseane, yes exactly thats my opinion..thanx for sharing yours!
  • Thanx for your answer, Viet. Totally agree with u and m just shocked that they are able to reject money from woman if man acompany her. Omgggg ..money is money no matter who will give them to cashier, nah? Btw what if the man is her brother or just friend :o
    • Yes, for the first time, I was also quite surprised when seeing the cashiers refuse to receive the money from women in the case, but it's interesting. No matter who the women's partners are since obviously they cannot know. But they will talk to women that let men pay and wait for men standing up and paying. Of course, as I mentioned above, only some shops/restaurants, not all. Good for men then ;).

  • I agree.

It seems the culture of paying for men at appointments outside is similar to country to country. We are familiar with this, too. Even in some shops/restaurants in my place, the cashiers also refuse to receive the payment from women if they go with men. Methinks, no matter what gender someone is, if they want to treat others and pay it. My colleagues and I are sometimes going to restaurants on the weekends, we go Dutch then. When a person gives a invitation, male or female, we welcome, lol.

  • I don't see any hesitation in it if 'she' pays for the dinner.

    • Yes, Mish, i think the same. Just some men's EGO wont allow them and maybe they would feel hurt ..humilitated
  • Sure Behghost !! Just lil bit changed your nickname :D since women fight for being independent guess sth like this should be common..
  • It's ok if they love each other
    • Yes, sure m talking about love, of course both love each other :) if not then we could say there is some hidden intention :)
