oh......! I have a question what I wanted to ask in the first hand but after reading all the comments....I am laughing thinking what a powerful writer you are, you can make your readers dizzy by your poetic words, marvelous! Hum.....I also know to some extant about exaggeration....actually, exaggeration is needed/is applied in our real life too....otherwise life would be boring......when we keep asking our love ones whether they love us or not...again and again, it is also a kind of exaggeration....D....
Actually, exaggeration, mystery or mysteriousness , metaphor, unreality....are the essential parts for poetry...they add flavour in a poem/poetry....if a poet writes what we say in our daily like will you take the words as a poem? If I say....I love birds so much....will you consider it as a verse....but if I say.....I wish to be your morning bird or If I were your morning bird, then? Is it possible for us to be a bird ?!

I think I really have written another controversial blog, (like Mr. Dara remarked in my previous blog, but this one really showing something). The objection is on the line “You love more than your god, me”.
I have already explained replying to dara’s comment, and I am glad he understood my viewpoint. Let me explain further:
My background is from Subcontinent India-Pakistan. My native language is Urdu, so naturally I have read a lot literature, fiction and others and poetry in my native language so I can’t avoid myself from the impact of Urdu poetry. And in Urdu poetry there is a term literally used and it is named as Mubalgha (exaggeration). Mubalgha is an Arabic word, and you Rosemary may understand it very well. This is one of the rich qualities of Urdu poetry. There are others, but I will explain only this one. This term sometimes describes attributions beyond belief, like:
…………………………….so much heat that burns the feet of sight (can you believe feet of sight?)
……………………..the dry were the lips of lake (lips of lake……wow!).
“…………………………O beloved my heart wants to prostrate before you,(prostrating before beloved………………….so controversial).
These are a few examples prevailing in Urdu poetry. There are thousands.
So as when I try to write something in English, it can’t remain outside the impact of Urdu literature………………….I am still at learning stage……………I am not expert.
So, the line "You love more than your god, me" is also with having the same effect, it is merely a metaphor, a poetic exaggeration, it can simply be explained that the poet is merely saying "I love you very much".
It does not relate to my believing. I am a kind of orthodox Muslim so much so that some of the members also remarked in a complaining way that I PREACH ISLAM in some of my blogs. (Read my blog on Ablution).

Ella...why so harsh? Are these words the words of a believer? Sometimes, thinking is before writing better. I am a bit shocked because I did it expect from you.
We should not hang on words whether it is right to say that someone loves someone more than God does. We should not take it too literally. Always, poets have the poetry license and the right to exaggerate. As I am not religious at all, I do not have any problems with that. And for believers: the judging, you should leave it to God. I don't think he will be upset with Mishaiks words.
As for me, I loved the way how you describe the love, Miahaikh...as always.

Oh Dara it is simply a POETIC EXAGGERATION, nothing else. The poet just want to say to his beloved that "I know you love me very much!"
