Writing Challenge : Mothers

When I first opened my eyes I saw you. There was something special in your eyes that I later found out it was pure love. The first scent that I smelled was yours which I could recognize it easily and it gave me calmness. I felt safe and secure in your arms.

The first song which I heard was your lullaby that you sang with your sweet voice.  It was the most beautiful song.  You fed me with every drop which came from inside of you and was filled with love.

The first word that I called was your name “mommy”. What a wonderful word!

You were there when I took my first step looking at me with a big grin on your face. Every time I was in pain you were beside me trying to soothe me. You were awake throughout all night beside my bed; although you were so tired but you never left me. Later I realized that only with you beside me I could handle the sickness.  You yourself was a painkiller for all my pains.

As I grew older I realized whenever I came home from school if you greeted me with big smile I would be the happiest child, but sometimes you were sick and you couldn’t be like always; home without you were like a grave. There was no happiness and joy at home. At night before going to bed I pray to God with all my heart” Dear God please heal my mother. I love her so much. I don’t want anything only my mom to be healthy again”.

Dear mother you are the most precious thing I have ever had. You are irreplaceable. You are unrepeatable. I love you from the bottom of my heart. I wish I could be there for you whenever you need me. I wish I never forget your kindness. I wish I could make you happy and be the one you want me to be. I wish I could make you proud. I wish you and all mothers long and happy life.
