I don't know much about the origin or the history of halloween, but I find interesting to take part in it. So here is my entry for the costume party. :D
I can fly so high,
with my broom in my hand.
I'm green in color,
with long nails and nose.
My messy hairs are hidden,
in my big black hat.
With my magic I can create,
many things like fire and lightening.
I can hunt things I adore,
cause I can fly anywhere, anytime.
I'm easy to recognize,
yet you have to find who am I.... ?

Hello, Wicked Witch! I too find it interesting that witches are green in some countries and not in others. I think "The Wizard of Oz" helped that along. Here in Canada, many people in witch costumes paint their faces green.
