Learning the English languagu is not an easy thing. Learners want instant results and fast improvements. Students should always remember that if they want to achieve something they must work hard for it.To my fellow EC members here's my 7 secrets to learn English.1. Set your goals. A goal is something that you want to achieve. I have two types of goal, one is the long term goal and the other is the short term goal. My long term goal is to become fluent in English and to help me achieve my long term goal I have my short term goal which is to learn the basics of English like the parts of speech.Make sure that you will set realistic goals so that you will not end up frustrated.2. Take action. Now that you have your goal it is time to make your moves. What are the things that you will do to achieve your goal?Here's a list of things that I do to achieve my goal.*Listen to radio programs or conversations that uses English as medium of communication.*Watch English television programs or movies.*Read magazines, newspaper or books written in English.*Visit reliable English learning sites like MyEc, Livmocha.com and Jenniferesl.com.*If You have questions always consult reliable people or reliable reference materials.3. Track your progress. Tracking your progress is like checking if you're learning or not. It's important because if you do not tracking your progress you will not know if you're getting results.4. Strengthen yur determination to learn. You'll definitely meet a lot of obstacle before you achieve your goal. Don't lose hope! always think positive and be positive.5. Be with people who also want to improve their English communications skills.Learning English is more fun and exciting if you are with your fellow learners. It's like having a support group to share your ideas with.6. Practice what you have learned "Knowledge gained but not applied is not knowledge at all" If you don't prcatice using English you won't get used to it. Do not be afraid ro make mistakes in English. Nobody's perfect.7. Continue studying English. English is a dynamic, it is fast changing.
