Writing Challenge #22: Wallwisher

WallwisherWe've been busy this month with an audio challenge, a reading challenge and a few photo challenges, but I haven't forgotten about this month's writing challenge. Since you've been working so hard to learn English this month, your task for #22 is short and simple. We're going to make a poster together. It is called a Wallwisher. As usual, I've chosen a topic that is close to my heart: The Earth!Your task:1. Follow this link.2. Double click on the wall. Post a tip about taking care of the earth. (Use your first name only.)3. Come back and leave a comment on this post. All you have to write is "I posted my environmental tip!"4. If you think of another tip, leave another note on the wall.5. If you like another member's tip, leave a note for your friend on his or her MyEC wall. Why participate in Writing Challenge #22?1. To show you care about the earth.2. To learn English vocabulary and usage.3. To make new friends.4. To learn new ideas about what you can do for the earth.5. To learn how to use Wallwisher. (great for birthday cards, brainstorming, group projects)RelatedThe Environment: Online reading lessons for English LearnersTEFL Earth: Ideas for Keeping it Green in the Classroom5 Fantastic Ways to use Wallwisher in the Classroom

  • Hi, I posted my tip.
  • thats good work.
  • I found Hamaza's tip about river pollution , very much useful too,as river water being a primary source of mother nature, it must be clean and pure.
  • Thanks for sharing the link 'Plastiki' - I like the boat made of 12 000 plastic bottles and the cute illustrations!
We do have reason to cherish the Earth - probably the only planet where we can live in the universe.
  • Pamarty's tip really made me think. I've decided that no plastic is allowed in my backyard. I want to keep my space "natural". I'm going to cut down on buying plastic wherever I can. Speaking of plastic, have you heard of the Plastiki?
  • These are fantastic tips. The space is filling up quickly. Which tip really "made you think"?
  • Yes, you may need to update your IE (Internet Explorer) to get Wallwisher to work. In fact, I successfully posted my tip after updating my IE. Thanks to the update, I'm using an updated IE(IE8) now.
  • I posted my environmental tip!
    Hello, Tara!
so glad to be able to share my opinion on this blog,
Earth is where we were born, lived and grown,
i hope all the life will be getting better if they build up a good environmental friendly.
"I love my wonderful world". Yeah, let's help the world together.
  • Manuela and others who may have trouble: If you can't get Wallwisher to work, try a different browser (yours may need updating). If it still doesn't work, write your tip here and I'll add it under your name. Thanks!
  • Hello, Tara!
Thank you for your challenge! It's a good idea!
My environmental tip: "Donate your old clothes or toys to a local group for the people in need."
    Have a nice week-end!
