Well, let us suppose we are rich. Just dream of it. Ok, I closed my eyes and focused on it. I can see myself somewhere in the simple house with packed luggage and for sure I am about to set for the trip. Ohhh, wait, wait. There is a limit as for the money. You can choose – life surrounded by the luxurious things or you can choose experiences. Yes, in this case it is not so easy.

I was thinking about myself, which of these possibilities is closer to me and for sure I am for the traveling and the experiences. In the end, I do not want to die with "pockets full of money" but without any experiences.       I simply want to live my life on the maximum and I am not into luxurious things. I do not need branded clothes,    I better invest money in something useful which will satisfy my eager mind.

Of course one hundred people – one hundred opinions and that is why I wrote this blog. I am surounded for example by some people who prefer showing off with the luxurious house but if you ask them – excuse me, where did you spend your holiday? They will simply answer – we do not have money for it. We can´t afford it because we will have to pay off our mortage.  Or do you know these people like.. you hurt yourself by the plate which fell down and they simply do care if the plate is ok instead of your bleeding fingers? These we can call the materialists. Of course the last example was maybe extreme :-D but it happens too.

Well, I can not say I disrespect such people, everybody has its own value chart and it is up to us how we decide to live our life and what our priorities are.

So… luxurious house or a trip around the world? Do not say both, please :D

  • If only ...it is just my dream. Here u can people usually live in rented flats, or they own flats and the rich ones can afford to build house. I think it depends on the country ...
  • Jai, I took it as an extreme. Rented house - no problem but meant something luxurious so that it would push u in the situation to choose things or experiences.
  • Thank you, Vinne!
  • I like your blog, and totally agree with you.

  • Thank you, May , agree with you. I work hard to have both of them too one day. Actually, my only one wish which is materialistic one is to have family house one day. To move from apartment in the city to the house in the village but not to invest everything in it...smart way, as u said ;)
