Welcome Back Home

Today is the day of national mourning for Malaysia. Today we mourned for the victims of MH17. Today we received the 20 bodies of 43 Malaysians that had been repatriated from Holland. Today is a bitter sweet day for the families of the victims.

Finally, they welcome back their love ones to be properly buried. It's a bitter sweet because they had been advice not to open the coffins of their love ones, but at least they have some closure. Though answers are yet to be given to them, their agonizing wait for the bodies of their love ones is over.

Normally, national of mourning is only reserved for leaders, but due to unfortunate nature of these victims, it's really appropriate that the whole nation mourned for the death.

  • Thank you AH_TK. Thank you for your prayer. Amen.

  • Noa, I can't claim that I'm aware of what happened to the plane. However, I'm sorry for what happened to the passengers.

May they rest in peace ....

May Allah give their families the strength to overcome their pains and sorrow .....  Amen.

  • Fizzy, I can't stop from crying too. Reading all the news from the victims' families made it more painful especially like the story of the sons' of both the stewardess and co-pilot. Like you said, their pain is our pain.

  • i watched it on news at night.. cried so much..

    their pain our pain..

  • Thank you Vietttt. Yes, finally they were back where they belonged.

  • Finally, they came back to the motherland and the beloved. My deepest condolence!

  • Thank you Tanya. Though we still don't get the answer for the tragedy, we accepted the fact that the plane was at the wrong place at the wrong time. You're right. In any conflict, it's always the regular people who became the victims of some political games. I hope Ukraine and the people of Ukraine will find the long lasting peace soon.

  • I am so sorry about all  people who died in that senseless catastrophy. I am really ashamed that plane was shot down over my country. Unfortunately, it is just regular people who suffer worst in any political games. Take my sincere condolence!

  • Thank you Maryam. May Allah gives strength to all family of the victims and all Malaysians.

  • Ameen. Thank you Mishaikh.
