Food, like sex, is one of the principal kinds of human activity that engage people when they wonder about how to account for different kinds of human behavior. (Marvin Harris)What do you think about the exotic food? Have you ever eaten something strange or not common in your city?Sometimes we have the opportunity to eat something that is not a common dish. Maybe some dishes are not easy to get in our city, but in other cities this is a typical food. The word “exotic” means from foreign origin or not native, introduced from abroad, but not fully naturalized or acclimatized, strikingly unusual or strange in effect or appearance. The cultural diversity allows us to have several recipes and to find different ways to prepare all kind of food, and the next list is an example:1.- Thailand’s deep-fried grasshoppers2.- Dog meat, starfish and scorpions in China3.- Singapore’s turtle soup4.- Isaw Manok in the Philippines (Barbecued chicken intestines)5.- Indonesian bats6.- Maguey’s worms in Mexico7.- Hamburger of Kangaroo in Australian8.- Sheep's eyes in Saudi Arabia9.- Escargots (snails) in France10.- Ragout of snake, Kebab or shishkebab of monkey and tail of crocodile in some Africa’s countries.About my experience in the exotic food I could say I have tasted the next: the maguey’s worms, jumiles (bugs), acociles (a kind of crayfish), grasshoppers, duck and rabbit. The maguey’s worms are so delicious once you dare to eat, the jumiles and acociles have a strong flavor but I dislike and the grasshoppers I ate a few last week and my subconscious still is trying to digest the idea. The true is the flavor is not bad but I didn’t like too much, if you eat grasshoppers you have to chew well this is my recommendation believe me. I know that I say.The duck and rabbit maybe is a common dish in another cities not in my city but I liked to eat that. And… what about you? Share your experiences. What’s the most exotic dish that you have eaten? If you still didn't …Are you willing to taste exotic food?.By Aurazul

Yes, the truht is there are some things that not look good and could be "yucky" for us but is a delicacy for others, I had not heared about the "Rocky Mountain Oysters" but for that is good to know... so if someone offers to me that... I will say " NO, THANKS " hahaha.

About the iguana, in the south of Mexico in the town of Guerrero there are some dishes of iguana I'm afraid of lizards so I don't like to taste iguana but I guess the flavor is not bad... in this town there are people who drink blood of iguana some people say that is healthy but in my case I can not to drink blood for my religious beliefs and I think If I had drink that I would have felt like a vampire ... =P

    Alright...!

Sometimes we're not willing to deal with some things that might be foreign to our way of thinking.

I think everything in life is a challenge but it depends on each one of us accept it or not as such so that's why we have free will.
