To be gifted by God.

Hello, every one.Today, would like to write about a topic that I have think over several times. I know that we have to write about language and how to learn English. That´s what I'm gonna do. However, I'm going to realate this to a bit of religion.Yesterday, I went mass, I'm Catholic, and the priest started to talk in what they call angelical language. I thought for my self. I don't think that this is language, for me they are just doing some noise with their mouth. Then I thought, What is a gift, and what is to be gifted. I think all of us have that gift because learning a language is not easy, it's very hard. You have to be dedicated, you must spend time practicing, you have to lost your fear, you should be thankful for what you have learnt. In brief, I think that we are blessed because we can learn a language, change experiences and improve every single day.l

  • Great blog Carlos, I fully agree with you. I think, a language is a door to a whole new world. More you know about a language, more you'll know about the world. I wish, I could learn many many languages. It is a dream of mine, which is very dear to me.

Thanks a lot for this wonderful blog!
  • I guess I miss a preposition. to . Besides, I need to use commas. I'm going to re-write the sentence.

Yesterday, I went to mass, I'm Catholic, and the priest started to talk in, what they call, angelical language.

    I hope it is OK.

Thank you for the callenge. It's a fun way to learn English.
  • Great writing Carlos. Learning a language is a blessing! I hadn't really thought of it that way before. It would be quite boring if we all spoke the same language all of the time, wouldn't it? I've just started re-learning French. It's so much fun to learn a language. I'm thankful for the opportunity too!

Writing Challenge: Can you spot a tiny word that is missing in this sentence? Can you also spot a place that needs punctuation?
