The Wedding

Sarah and Adam decided to make their wedding on Monday. Adam is very mean. He did not want to spend more money on the wedding.  Sarah told her fiancé why on Monday, and he replied that most people would be busy with their work and no one would pay any attention. He told her that they would need her father and her mother. He said,

"My uncle is the only person from my family."

" But why Adam?"

"There will be no expenses, a small piece of cake will finish the occasion." He replied.

" What about my sisters, my brothers, uncles and aunts. Adam! I have a big family!" she yelled at him.

Then he said sarcastically, "They will be at work my dear. They will know later."

"How,,, how could you? No, no I won't accept that. There will be no wedding at all." She said angrily.

This story reminded me of that story about the man who fled from his wife after they had been wed. It began like this:

The husband dressed in complete suit and a blue hat said,

" At last honey, we are alone in our kingdom."

"Yes darling,"

"I guess, we will be happy forever," she answered.

Then suddenly, he looked at many hats hanging on the wall and said, "What are these hats?"

She said, " dear, this is a long story"

"No, no I want to hear it." He prompted.

She began narrating,

" The first black hat belongs to my husband who died at war in Afghanistan. The second yellow hat belongs to my husband who passed out because of the fire from the kitchen.  The third white hat belongs to my husband who drowned in the sea. Oh! This one, the green one, oh! It belongs to my husband who died in a car accident. The pink hat belongs to my husband who fell from the fifth floor and broke his neck.,,,,,, the grey hat ,,,,,"

Without waiting for her to finish, the man took off his hat slowly and hung it up near the rest of the other hats and ran away saying, " and this hat belongs to your husband who escaped saving his skin."

  • it is funny as a story but real life it is a predicament. :) Being honest and decide to what must be said and  the true time is important. of course it's depend on the both sides of people. the capacity of comprehension others, expressing yourself.... For fun ok, but in real life i do not wanna live this... :) thank you for sharing. Congrats and continue to write :)

  • Pontoshan Laszlo! They did not have any previous arrangements to know one another. Thank you Laszlo for your comment on The Wedding!

  • i don't really get the moral of the stories but it is sure that these people engaged to get married before they got to know each other.

  • Akhirnya, saya tela menunggu koment mu Fayandi. Why did you call that man a stupid? He might have known, but,,,,, hehe! Thank you for those points. They are really enough to summarize The Wedding!

  • FIRST STORY:

    Adam did:

    -          Didn’t want to spend more money. What’s the reason?

    -          Will do the wedding on Monday, so people can’t come because working.

    -          Only invite his uncle (No friends)

    -           It’s like forbid Saras’es Family to come with say “They will be at work my dear. They will know later."

    Conclution: Adam is an evil

    SECOND STORY:

There’re 6 hats, and the 7th hat deserve to be collected because his stupideness for didn’t know the wife has already married with 6 men before.

  • Mamnoon ya Manaf. alwahid ma mafrood yakoon zay alaaama. You are right about that Manaf. The person or rather, the family of his or her should have an idea about their new family. As you know, marriage is not just the union of the husband and the wife but their families as well. Thanks Manaf for your future preparations for The Wedding!

  • its nice and funny ..but i think the man  must be ask for her women and her family until he become sure 100%..not go to the marriage like blind ..but sometimes the circumstance  control on the man and these are prevent to thinking

  • priviet Annette. Atlishno moy droog ih spasibo. You are amazing Annette. Wow, you really gave me the creep. Those people are absolutely ignorant of what you have just said, my dear friend. Both men, the miser and the one who ran, have not heard about that. Ann, thanks for that warning and optimistic view about The Wedding!

  • My opinion is that both stories introduce how people could be mistaken about a marriage itself.

First of all, it would be wise to get to know your future husband or wife a bit better and go out for some time before the wedding, meet the sweetheart's family, recognize his or her specific character traits.

More importnat, people just don't realize that a marriage is not always a pleasant and delightful thing. I believe that it's kind of spritual work to learn to be respectful and supportive, open-minded and helpful.

All in all, if you are not sure that you're ready to provide these things or even just not have strong wish to change yourself, you're not ready for marriage. Otherwise, your union is doomed to be ruined sooner or later.2643474655?profile=original

  • Ya jamaa, Miro dakhalat fi allaham al hay. Mashaa Allah alaiha, gidrat twareena hajat ajiba. Most readers avoided or did not want to say that woman was not careful enough and certain things or secrets should be kept for the benefit of the new comer. Miro! That was the perfect analysis about The Wedding!
