) Between 1989-90, Belgium became very well known around the world for its flap of triangle shaped UFOs and other sightings, starting in the dutch part of the county and later, touching the entire little countryDuring the specific evening of 29 November 1989, in a small area of Eastern Belgium, 16 km away from my hometown, about 140 UFO sightings were reported. Hundreds of people, among them, policemen, and army soldiers, saw a majestic triangular craft with a scale of approximately 35 meters, powerful bright spot red, white and green lights, moving very slowly without making any significant noise but, in several cases, accelerating to very high speeds within 2 seconds.The following days and months, many more sightings were reported. The UFO wave lasted more than one year during which a Belgian UFO organization investigated on more than 650 cases and recorded more than 400 hours of audio witness reports. On one occasion, a policeman who had his camera could catch the triangular shape and four lights beams of the unknown object .The most astonishing is that, for the first time in years, all the testimonies about this UFO Belgian wave were corroborating.The Belgian Air Force tried to identify the alleged “invaders” and, and on three occasions, launched F 16 army aircraft. On one occasion, two F 16 registered rapid changes in speed and altitude which were well outside of the performance of existing aircraft.A long study has been made of those mysterious "TriangleUFOs" by the belgian Airforce in cooperation with the Sobeps, but nothing definitive has come out of it, public opinion in Western Europe is still divided between the UFO angle, and secret military planes. It is a fact that most of triangles cases happen over Belgium territory, and there does not seem to be any explanation to this either.Those “strange objects” have been seen , from time to time, in many other countries around the world.Do you believe in Ufo or do you rather thing those phenomenons have a rational explanation as helium huge balloon, secrets army crafts or even lazers ?Don’t you think it’s a little presumptuous of us to think we could be the only alive “creatures” (not to say humans being) in our universe ?
